Remarks

The college is good enough in my opinion. But the security of the students is less and also there are not much guards on the entrance points of the campus so it should be taken into account and to be dealt with.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

It is a med school so basically our subjects are related to the same. the course curriculum is fine, But it can be improved. The syllabus is sufficient but the method of teaching neend some changing. Yes the knowledge is industry specific and enough to help securing campus placements.

Placement Experience

4.5

The placement of my college is good enough. The placement for the internship is in the Lok Nayak Hospital associated with the college itself. The clinical exposure here is quite sufficient for the expertise of the interns. No I have not availed any internships yet because I am not graduated.

College Events

4.5

The fest celebrated here is the "Synapse". It is an intercollege fest i. e. students of different colleges can join the fest and enjoy. The event has many activities like the star nights and the performances of the societies of the college which are quite entertaining. Also there is an intracollege fest named "Goonj" which also is a great 3 day fest where the college students get to interact with each other.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee for my programme is very cheap as it is a government medical college. The fees was 4445/- rs including 2000/- security fees and the mode of payment was through a challan at the syndicate bank in the campus itself. The fees is quite feasible in my opinion.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes the college offer scholarship opportunities to students but I have not availed any so I cannot describe it.

Campus Life

3.5

The campus life here is quite good except the fact that the area outside the campus is not much safe. The gender ratio here is about 4:3 I guess. The extra curricular activities are good like the sports facilities available are good and the labs are also great. The debates here are quite informative and are academic and non-academic also organised by the students themselves.

Hostel Facilities

4

Yes, I have opted for hostel. The hostel fees is about 500 a month and the rooms available are shared by 4-7 students. Yes the seats are few and the students living in the PGs nearby spend almost around 10000-15000 per month in the travelling and the PG cost itself.

Alumni/Alumna

Yes the seniors are quite helpful here and they share their experience with us and which help us a lot going through the exams and the other problems which we face.

Admission

I got admission by giving NEET-2019. I chose this because this is the best institution for mbbs in india. The steps were NEET EXAM, NEET RESULT, COLLEGE ALLOTMENT (Councelling), MEDICAL TEST, ADMISSION. The neet result was about a month after the commencement of the exam and the councelling was started after about a monthnof the result. After the college allotment the admission was about a week or two from the councelling date.

Faculty

4.5

The faculty is good enough, They are all qualified doctors. The minimum age I guess is about 25 years and the minimum educational qualification is the degree of MBBS. Most of them are expert in their fields and have pretty clear concepts and also teaching ability is good. Yes their lectures hold industry experience including all types of clinical things.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The MBBS curriculum is mostly standard, but its relevance is super high because of the massive patient load at SJH. That clinical exposure is the key thing that prepares you for both real life and NEET PG later—that’s why I chose VMMC. Improvements? We need less lecturing and more interactive case discussions and maybe more emphasis on research. Exams are non-stop, seriously! We have internals/semester exams every 3-4 months. They are tough (50% passing), but they force you to study well for the final big Proffs. It’s tiring, but it works.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is very well structured and includes detailed study of all the aspects of medicine which is very relevant in today's world. Since mbbs curriculum is more about practical and less about theory we get a really good patient exposure which makes us ready to deal with patient problems in real life. The course curriculum can be made a little less hectic as in fourth year there are 11 subjects to cover so they can be distributed equally in all the other years and teaching methods can be made more interactive instead of professors just reading the slides monotonously

Curriculum of mbbs is very comprehensive and makes you capable of handling medical emergencies, and not miss out on diagnosing critical cases. With the new CBME curriculum by nmc in place, additional focus is also given on the AETCOM (attitude, ethics and communication) module which is aimed at improving the quality of healthcare professionals produced by this country.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is decided by the NMC therefore it is same for all of the doctors. Our college has a good clinical exposure and thus we learn a lot. The course prepares you well, but you always have to learn by yourself. In the area of clinical expertise the treatment of common disease must be taught separately. We have exams Nearly every 3 months, which can be tough to manage, considering that you have to score an average of more than 50% in them . Difficulty level is intermediate
