This course is for 4 years and has 6 branches.1 Electronic and Communication Engg. 2.information technology engg. 3.civil Engg. 4.electrical engg. 5.computer science engg. 6.applied engg. The syllabus of all branches are designed very limitedly.it is a fully practical type of course.

About 85% of the students get placed from our branch. The highest salary package offered is 8 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered, including our course, is 3.4 LPA. The top recruiting companies of our college are TCS, Wipro, Extra marks, etc. In our course, the highest salary package offered was 9 LPA.

College Events

Students are continuously encouraged to build their personality by participating in several co-curricular activities like debate, quiz, essay writing, drama, music, etc. The enrolled students regularly participate in different technical events like paper presentations, programming contests,s, etc., And bag prizes. Students also organize their annual technical & cultural fest ‘WALTZ’ every year. Renewable Energy Club has been set up with financial assistance of WEBREDA, Govt. of WB. National Service Scheme (NSS) unit is functioning smoothly.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee is high. The fee is according to per sem 1st sem fee is 32450, and remaining 7 sem is 27405 excluding host hostel fee 7400 per sem you have to extra money for food. They only give hostel including electric charge. They give scholarships for sc st students.

Campus Life

UIT has a lush green campus. The campus is a part of the University of Burdwan's campus. It has a separated campus The hostels are: New and old Barnabas boys hostel (for first-year students) Prof S.N. Bose boys hostel J.C. Bose boys hostel Madam Curie girls' hostel.

Yes, the hostel is a nice place for students' bachelor life. The hostel is on the campus of the college so no tension in taking a cab or any other transport forgoing college. Also 24-hour electricity and water supply. Ground for playing.

Admission

By appearing in the West Bengal joint entrance exam for engineering. Then after few months, results declared every student gets their sore know as a rank card. After that counseling is taking place for those who want admission in the state of West Bengal State government college or any other. according to their rank, they get college.

There is 80 faculty all taking Ph.D. degree. Some of them are very experienced. They teach different branch according to their field, they help students. Their style of teaching is good, not excellent but acceptable. If any student understands then they are free to ask gain by taking extra time.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I read in CSE(AIML) AI ML perspective and couse curriculam inluenced me to admit in college. Teachers often make real-world applications gor any pariculatr topic. I think more practical based an implement based curriculam should be added rather than more theorital subs. Most case college is form 9am -5 pm Like (9-5 job) .

A few of them are Google, Amazon, etc. The highest package this year for on campus was 54 lakh and the average package is 7 lakh. Percentage of students getting placement is aroung 70%. My experience in the first IIT

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements from the 7th semester for the 4 year program. 100+ companies visit and make 1600+ offers. Visiting companies include FAANG , hft/firms and core engineering companies like Texas instruments/Nvidia. Highest package was of 1.68cr and avg package ranged from 15-20 lakh 80%+ were placed in UG program I haven't decided particularly if I should do masters or prepare for job or go for other venture as the college provides good enough safety net for each thing

Navigating through University Institute Of Technology.

I applied to a few other colleges such as VIT, SRM, KIIT through their entrance exams and got confirmed admission from each of them. I chose this college as the fee is relatively lower being a government college and better ROI in my opinion. My WBJEE rank wasnt good enough to get my desired branches in Jadavpur Univerity or KGEC which made me opt for this particular college. The admission here takes place through two ways- WBJEE counselling and Decentralised counselling. To get admission through WBJEE one need a decent rank ( around 9k) for the upper branches. For making it through decentralised counselling, one needs to do significantly well in their board exams. Admission experience is quite smooth. If anyone wants to get admission to this college they accept the West Bengal joint entrance exam. For CSE you need to rank at least 9000 rank. For IT you need at least 12000 ranks. For ECE you need at least 25000 ranks. For EE you need at least 45000 ranks. For Civil, you need at least 55000 ranks. And it is a semi-government college.
