Remarks

Management have some scope to improve. By providing more exposure to co-curricular activities.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum is quite good and relevant. It prepares us well about the theoretical concepts and for the industry. In final semesters there are subjects like TQM which tells us about the Industry culture. Some industrial visits are also provided to learn more familiar to the Machine.

Class Size: 74Course Fees: INR 65000 per year

Placement Experience

Placement in our college depends on the course we are taking.computer science palcaents are almost 80% while placement of the mechanical course is not so good.its around 40% while the electronic and communication course placement is 60%. Civil engineering placement is around 20%.

College Events

Annual fest is held generally around October which is celebrated for two to thre days involving various activities like star night,dance, technical activities and gaming competition.spoerts day is also celebrated each year around January. It involves various activities like running, cricket etc.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is not expensive at all.No additional need to be paid to take admission in the college.college provides the proper breakdown of the fees. Payment can be done by cards,net banking or challan. Sbi cards are generally accepted to pay the fee online.

No,i havn't taken any type of loan neither i am avialed with any type of scholarship.My all the expenses are spent by the parents.

Campus Life

Campus Life is quite exploring.college has dance,drama, technical groups which keeps you quite engaged throughout the session. Also College group participates in the fest held outside the college.blood donations are also organised for social welfare.

Hostel Facilities

No, i havn't opted for the hostel. situation of the boys hostel is not so good.in the rainy season water enters the ground level rooms.girls hostels are in very good situation. Their is very new hostel made for the girls and is ready to shift.

Alumni/Alumna

I don't think if the alumini network is helpful in academics to us although they are quite helpful for providing fund in cultural activities.

Admission

Firstly, i appeared for entrance exam,then the rank was calculated according to entrance exam and 12th percentage and then counselling takes place and i have to appear foe each councelling and i will get my seat if qualified.total 4 counselling take place.

Faculty

Most of the faculty is well qualified and educated.they teaches is very well and and are very helpful to the students but some of them are also very irritating like Ashwin sir and Rajiv sir. While others teachers like senthil sir and radheysham sir are always ready to help the students.

Pec...The best college in chd

Placement Experience:

This college has decently good packages both the average package and median packages as well as almost 80 percent studnets are placed before the 4th year ends...if I talk about my branch the median was 11 lpa and almost 90 students were palced out of 120 in 2024

My review of PEC Chandigarh

Course Curriculum Overview:

For improvement in teaching methods, they can go digital, like using smartboards, or use more practical teaching methods, or maybe just improve the way of teaching simply. Teaching methods here really need upgrades, mostly students here have to rely on youtube when exams come near.

Pec is still worth it

Placement Experience:

The placements have been lowered by 10-20% recently, but they are getting better. You will get a job if you manage cgpa above 7 and are decent with your skills, but then don't dream for 20lpa + jobs, you need to work upon yourself in silence to get 25-50 lpa packages and they do happen in our colleges, highest package in electrical 2024-25 was 52 lpa and in ece cse they had 61 lpa. Companies start coming in 3rd year for internships, only 10% manage to get intern in 3rd year, companies like microsoft, atlassian, flipkart, mercedes, jp morgan etc. they do come. Placement perecentage is like 75-80% in electrical and it is very low in civil (around 40-50%), in cse it is like 90% or even higher. My plan is to get an intern asap. (Maybe in 2nd year theough offcampus)

Great college with immense opportunities

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course is upto date and to the industry levels, especially with great labs and internship opportunities. Exams, are based on the course but they're quite tough and we need to study daily to get good marks.

Good college with great opportunities

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placements from 4th year and many get PPOs in 3rd year as well. Top companies like Amazon, Microsoft, Apple, Google, visits the campus for placement. In CSE last year, the highest package was around 60 LPA with average around 17-18 LPA with 80% got placed.

PEC: where engineering meets opportunity

Placement Experience:

The students become eligible for placements after their sixth semester. Many companies visit PEC some of the top recruiters are Uber,Microsoft,JP Morgan,Goldman Sachs,Texas Instruments,Cisco,American Express and many more. This year the highest package was 61 lpa given to 3 students from circuital branches,6 students received offer of 52 lpa. The average CTC was 13.6 lpa and specifically about ECE it was 15.6 lpa. 456 out of 694 students were placed which is a placement rate of 65.7% including PPOs from companies. My plans would be to get placed with a good package .

Pec chandigarh review

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are offered and internships are also offered in the 3rd year, many new branches are also being introduced to the curriculum. Placements are according to the branch and capability of the student. There is good placement ratio.

The admission process was very time-consuming as it lasted for more than a month but it was ok and the admissions are based on JEE mains all india rank score. Okay so for getting admission in Chandigarh College of Engineering and Technology Sector 26 Chandigarh 1st you have to give JEE mains exam for that exam you have to attempts in a year provided by NTA. After giving JEE mains exam you have to apply for Jack Chandigarh counselling that takes place after the JEE mains result has been declared they are total free rounds for that Chandigarh counselling and after the three rounds there are some rounds for spot rounds. If you are looking to get admission in computer science or electronics plans then you have to achieve at least 5260000 rank in JEE mains if you come from general quota and other state there is 85% reservation for students that are in Chandigarh and 15% for other state quota. So as another state quota student and as a hostess and as a computer science student I would recommend you to achieve at least 50000 to 60000 rank if you are looking for CSE or electronics branch in our college....Read More

CCET- an decent college if you want to learn and discover yourself along with knowledge

Firstly,one should have appeared and scored decent marks in JEE MAINS and have to apply through JAC CHANDIGARH counselling and opt for this college. And should have 50% or above in 12th The application for gets out around after JEE MAINS session 2 and can be found on google easily. One can avail reservations like ST,SC,EWS,Tuition fee waiver,etc. The cutoffs are somewhat decent. I had 109000 rank and got ECE here...Read More

Better college for 50k rank in mains

For admission they take jee mains rank into consideration and for leet they take PULEET into consideration.
