Remarks

Most of the courses in college are outdated and are not according to current Industry standards. Lack of interaction with seniors. Not research oriented at all. Not preparing the students for placements.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

The college takes three types of exams. 2 Sessionals of 15 marks each, 4 assignments(Surprise quiz) of 5 marks each and one end semester of 50 marks. Compared to other colleges, labs are done seriously and each lab carries 10 matks amd there are a total of 10 labs per semester. So it is scaled down to 60 and rest 40 is for lab end semester exam. Along with it, each lab also has mini projects which also carry weightage and are scaled along with the lab marks to 60. Assignments are held throughout the semester, Sessional 1 is conducted in the 2nd semester while Sessional 2 is conducted in the 3rd month. So there is not much enough time for extra studies or activities According to me its more of rote learning rather than being industry oriented. Most of the curriculum is outdated. The college does not encourage much research. No industrial visits were made.

Placement Experience

3

Amazon, Samsung, Oracle, Microsoft, Goldman Sachs, Arm, Juniper Networks, Cisco and many more. Around 180 companies came for placement and internship in 2019. The process for every company is Online Test followed by several rounds of in person interview. Around 60-70% students get placed. The institution just gave a brief overview of the placement one semester before. They didn't specifically prepare the students for it.

College Events

4.5

Techtatva - National level Technical fest. Robowars, mini car racing and many other technical events are held in which many students from neighbouring states and cities participate Revels - National level Cultural fest. Revels Cup is organised which includes 5-6 different sports and many colleges participate in it. Along with it, a 3 day Artist show is also organised including comedians, musicians and EDM sessions.

Fee Structure And Facilities

It is way too expensive. Mode of payment is Demand Draft, RTGS, NEFT or online payment. The first year it was 270000 which was suddenly raised to 339000 for the remaining years. The fee structure is transparent but does not justify the quality of academics and professors or be the placement it provides. A sum of 10000 has to be paid in advance for securing a seat in the college which is then imcluded in the academic fees

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes college offers scholarship according to merit based on entrance exam and according to AICTE guidelines for social economic backward class students. Top 1000 students in the exam get scholarship ranging from 50% to 75%. For backward students, the income of parents should be less than 6 lakhs to avail the scholarship. Also the students must maintain a CGPA of 8 throughout the semesters in order to avaial the scholarship.

Campus Life

4.5

The campus life is very vibrant and active. The gender ratio is also good around 3:1 or 4:1 approximately. The college has alot of clubs for extra activities including debate clubs which have national level competitions. Workshops are also organised frequently. The college is very diverse with students from all over the country and different religions. Most of the students do not involve themselves in political activities and neither do the college authorities. Personally I haven't seen any political events or protests in the campus till now. The college also has two national award winning drama clubs namely Ada and Aaina. The college has well equipped labs of international standards. Robotics and other technical competitions are conducted during the technical fest of the college-Techtatva

Hostel Facilities

3.5

Yes. There are varying range of hostels. The annual fee ranges between 60000 to 80000. The higher rental ones are well managed and have good infrastructure compared to the lower ones. Some hostels have ACs installed in the rooms. A maximum of 2 people can share aroom in all the hostels.

Alumni/Alumna

The college does not have a strong alumni network. Currently it is trying to build it. You'll get to interact with the seniors only if you are in some club, society or technical team or unless you know them personally from before. General interaction of seniors is less including guidance like for placements or internships

Admission

It is one of the good private colleges in India. Students have to give an online entrance exam (MUOET) and then a rank list is released according to which branches or courses are offered. Admission process is very transparent. There are 3 rounds of counselling before getting admission out of which the 1st one is a physical one.

Faculty

2.5

Around 1200-1500 lectures are there in the college with average age bein around 40 and average qualification being a B.Tech. The professors are always keen to assist the students having soubts or problems. Only some have a sound clarity of the subjects. Again very few have relevant industry experience or certification.

Placement is good, every student who tries to get placement will surely be placed in campus placements, but off campus would be difficult as this cllg is a tier-3 cllg, so many companies reject in resume shortlisting. Maximum every CSE student will get placed but max of them would get placed at an offer of 3.5 or 4.5lpa

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would say academic wise. There is nothing much happening right now in first year, but then there are many events like hackathons happening where and we can participate and learn a lot even our first year and we have English film and Japanese film, which is basically a whole language club and there are a lot of activities happening such as debate and all, which is obviously helping us gain a lot of public speaking skills and confidence.
