Remarks

JIS UNIVERSITY is one of the best Private University for Engineering studies. The academics quality and the campus is very much student-friendly. Faculty members and other staffs are very much helpful.

Course Curriculum Overview

It is a very good place to know more than your academic syllabus where faculty members always try to do some different thing to make you too much comfortable about the subject and the course also. Here also you have that opportunity to explore yourself in a very fluent manner.

Class Size: 40Course Fees: INR 4 per year

Placement Experience

Training and Placement department is awesome. They connect with each and every student and help to find a suitable job for them.

Campus Life

A campus with lots of fun, lots of goals, lots of achievement. It is a ragging free campus with suitable infrastructure and proper guidance for the Corporate world.

Placement Experience:

At JGEC,campus placements begin mostly from the 6th/final year semester,when students become eligible .I recent years many well-known companies have visited such as Pinnacle Infotech,Synnova Gears & Transmissions Pvt.Ltd,,TCS,Jyesta corporate Entity and many more.The highest package was around 54 LPA form Google ,While the overall average is 10.2LPA.Many students also take internships, industrial training or prepare for higher studies(GATE) rather than accepting direct placement immediately.The exact percentage of student getting palcement is no where.But last year the percentage placed is 70%.

Placement opportunities are overall good, students can apply for the placement form 5th and 6th semester and can get PPOs's companies like Microsoft, google, amazon comes during the placement season and every year, so many students get placed even with a package greater than 2cr INR. The average package is around 18 Lakhs.

Placement Experience:

Overall the placement percentage of the college is good for both the core and non-core courses almost near 90%. All the students in there 3rd year i.e. in their 5th or 6th semester are elegible for campus placements. A few companies which visit the college are TCS, WIPRO, TECH MAHINDRA, INFOSYS, IBM, COGNIZANT, HUL, HCL, INDIAN OIL, MITSUBSHI, NJ INDIA, D-POWER,ETC. all the companies offer placement. highest on-campus package = inr 33 lakh where as the average is around 6lpa. After the degree, I plan to get a good placement in a core company and opt for GATE.
