My experience at KNC

Our course BA Journalism (Hons) had a very impressive curriculum right from documentary film making, to writing news articles to social sciences, the environment studies, political science basically covering all aspects of knowledge areas and everything that will make for a complete journalist. The faculty was well acquainted with the subjects, not only did they add to the theoretical approach to varied subjects bt also their experiences accounted for a thorough practical, on the job kind of knowledge.

No its a +3 college so. No placements or jobs. After graduation, we can continue with higher education or we can apply for entrance examination which we have to search for our own. The college will only provide a degree

College provide each and every individual with ample opportunities. It's college full of cultural activities. We have so many different societies from Lakshay : the threaten group to, Engima :western dance society, Green Beans, Consumer Club, Crossfire :Debating society, Glitz : Fashion society, and the list goes on. Moreover there are so many enriching talks, seminars organised by various departments. Apart from that there are workshops which keep on happening through the out the year.

It is quite feasible as compared to other private colleges. So. it's a bit high as compared to government colleges. Overall it's feasible and it accepted by everyone as fees are paid semester wise. The fees for Journalism Hons was by far the most expensive out of all subjects in DU. If the other subjects were paying an annual fee of 5-6k, journalism students were paying an annual fee of 11k.

We don't have hostel facility in our college. I live in flat sharing with my friends near the college.The college doesn't have its own hostel but it is surrounded by many girls pgs in Anand Lok, GK, South ex, Gautam Nagar etc.These areas are the toppest areas of Delhi to live in and is quite safe and secure place for the girls.

I got admission in the college in the year 2017 on the basis of merit list. I scored 92.75 percentage and got admission in the 3rd cut off list of the college in general category. The college release several cut off list through which the students can take admission accordingly.

The faculty is really good. Whole faculty is my favourite. All the teachers teaching journalism have in depth knowledge of their core subjects. The help us in writing research papers and doing industry projects.
