Course Curriculum Overview

The course is pretty nicely designed and has a lot of basic understanding required for a child to understand his mindset for a research. The course promotes research. The lab work is a lot but that is needed in applied sciences so it's pretty well planned.

Placement Experience

Our college does not have a very nice placement cell. The companies that come do not offer a great stipend. Most of the kids prefer going for masters so we dont even look for jobs just after bachelors. Our college does not provide internships.

College Events

Annual cultural fest is held with a great participation from all over Delhi. Annual Departmental Fests are held which come under detailed academic activities. Annual Sports Day is held. Annual Diwali Fest is held. Annual Graduation ceremony is held.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee is pretty affordable as it is a government university college. The Delhi University is difficult to get in but easy to sustain. It's a very cheap and feasible course. It gives you a professional degree.

Admission

The admission was based on the merit list and our class 12th scores. No interview was conducted. The choice of this course was completely based on my interests in the field of physics. The college offers many other courses for honors in applied sciences like microbiology, instrumentation, botany,zoology, chemistry and many more.

Faculty

The faculty is highly qualified and interested in teaching the subject. They have various new ways of explaining the topics and techniques. They promote inquisitive mindset. The faculty is also very helpful.

Kirori Mal - The way I see it

Placement Experience:

The placements at Kirori Mal College are respectable and are getting better. The fifth semester is typically when students become eligible for campus placements. Numerous well known bussineses like Deloitte, KPMG, EY et. Approximately 50-60% of students are placed through campus drives each year. The average package is approxiamtely 5-7 lakhs per year. After getting the degree I plan on applying for a masters degree in the same field.

The course is good but placement is very bad in the campus. The frequency of exams is 2 hours or 3 hours depends on the credit of that subject. The exam level is of moderate level. We had pass the exam studying 1 week before the exam.

A vibrant college life

Course Curriculum Overview:

as been from the science background I have deep interest in maths already, and I want to continue my passion for it. The proves the critical thinking the imaginary parts and the applications of mathematics. We see every day it motivates to think about these theorems. The curriculum of course is very good, but due to NEP, we have to study subjects like Hindi in our AEC which is very irrelevant to the curriculum and waste our four hours weekly in mathematics, we mainly deal in proof and theorem. There are very less real word applications that are being taught here. There are various areas for improvement like we can adapt the course or the curriculum.in universities like IITs,Cambridge Oxford and other big universities so that the placement and internship percentage can get improved in our college

The Life at Ramjas College.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I was always interested course. It's relevant to the exams in that particular field. The syllabus for life and other exams in this field. I think that there is a lack of actual real life practice in basic courses. If could be made more aligned to what we do in real life it would have been better. The exams are easy enough to pass by just studying one month before exams and submitting the internal assessments properly. There are end semester exams which gives enough time to prepare well.
