Remarks

I didnt had any bad experience about college, but yes lots of good memories. Like, support about placement selection , teachings about life, extra attention given whenever you required.

Entrance Preview

I have given the JET (joint entrance test), diploma course, and i have scored 996 marks out of 1500 and CCET is best college in surroundings and it has best placement cell.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum was well briefed and practically described. And the contents were clean and clear. They have best faculty to trained students. All the subjects were updated.

Internships Opportunities

I have done intership in M/s Atul Fastners located in mohali. They did not offer any stipened, generally students get 3-4 k stipend in their intership program i have seen all the tools , machinery which i have used in my college duration.

Placement Experience

As i have mentioned earlier, this college is having best placement cell. All the students got placement in good reputated companies, like L&T, Punj loyd, Cheema Boilers , Murugappa Group. They have offer monthly 7000 to 8000 per month.

College Events

College has many cultural events. NSS day, Sports day, Annual day, cultural dayawards / certificate ceremony, Lohri celebration. All the events were organised on large scale, every time a chief guest address students.

Fees and Financial Aid

I didnt got any scholarship , but yes there are scholarships in my college. And my students got the scholarships and good rewards on performing , not only in studies but also in sports and in NSS.

Faculty

Faculty is well educated and experienced and each one is having good skills to teach students. Faculty is very friendly and supportive to students and always encourage.

Placement Experience:

From 5th semester students are eligible for campus placement ( only those students who have aggregate equals to or more than 60 and have no backlogs in previous semesters) Mainly private companies come for campus placements. Companies like Fanuc, EPL, Mexico, moderate, Hawkins, have are visited and packages of 3.5 lakhs are provided by these companies. About 90% of students are placed every year during campus placements. I want to do a job in BHEL.

Placement Experience:

In the last of your course, you get eligible for the internships on-campus or off-campus there are various type of companies which is mentioned in the brochure of the college and the highest package I have heard is about 40 LPA in between you have to maintain a good CGPA of above 8 and you can transfer diploma to a degree after that

Placement Experience:

The placement criteria in cu are very good. More than 600+ companies visit the campus. The students who are in last year can sit for Placement. The highest package of cu is 38 lacs which was given by amazon in 2020. About 80to 90 percent of students who get placed are eligible for placement. The student who has more than 6 cgpa they are only eligible for sitting in campus placement among them 80 to 90 percent students are placed.

For more practical knowledge, Under the name of central govt. Moreover a well known research centre Placements are very good from this institute. There are only two streams mechanical and electronics. which are futher divided into mechanical (3yr- tools nd die, 4 yr- die and mould) Electronics (3yr- electronics ,4 yr - mechatronics),According to me there is just one disadvantage for 12 pass students that after completion of studies you will get diploma not a degree. , which is somehow i think is a negative point

Best Polytechnic College in North India

JET was the entrance exam which I passed and I got 193 rank. I chose diploma in Mechanical Engineering because I was quite passionate about mechanics and all and also I was very eager to go into a "junior college", away from school life.

The admission process was very time-consuming as it lasted for more than a month but it was ok and the admissions are based on JEE mains all india rank score. Okay so for getting admission in Chandigarh College of Engineering and Technology Sector 26 Chandigarh 1st you have to give JEE mains exam for that exam you have to attempts in a year provided by NTA. After giving JEE mains exam you have to apply for Jack Chandigarh counselling that takes place after the JEE mains result has been declared they are total free rounds for that Chandigarh counselling and after the three rounds there are some rounds for spot rounds. If you are looking to get admission in computer science or electronics plans then you have to achieve at least 5260000 rank in JEE mains if you come from general quota and other state there is 85% reservation for students that are in Chandigarh and 15% for other state quota. So as another state quota student and as a hostess and as a computer science student I would recommend you to achieve at least 50000 to 60000 rank if you are looking for CSE or electronics branch in our college....Read More

CCET- an decent college if you want to learn and discover yourself along with knowledge

Firstly,one should have appeared and scored decent marks in JEE MAINS and have to apply through JAC CHANDIGARH counselling and opt for this college. And should have 50% or above in 12th The application for gets out around after JEE MAINS session 2 and can be found on google easily. One can avail reservations like ST,SC,EWS,Tuition fee waiver,etc. The cutoffs are somewhat decent. I had 109000 rank and got ECE here...Read More

Better college for 50k rank in mains

For admission they take jee mains rank into consideration and for leet they take PULEET into consideration.
