College management was extremely supportive and and always helped the students
Entrance Preview
I did not give any entrance as the admission was through 12th percentage. I scored 76% in 12th. It is one of the best colleges in Kolkata for commerce course.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course curriculam was vast covering all the major subjects like Accounting, Maths, Business Management and Economics. Apart from the honours paper, we were also taught languages Hindi and English, environment studies etc.
Internships Opportunities
Since it was a regular college, there was not much scope of campus hiring or internship .But the college was famous and due to which later it helped me as a student to get jobs easily in the market.
Placement Experience
I do not know much about the placements as I did not attend any.However, the job opportunities later were good as it is a renowned college in its field.
College Events
There were a lot of cultural events that my college offered such as Fresher's meet, Annual fest, Cultural events by cultural committee, Seminars by eminent leaders, Festival events.
Fee Structure And Facilities
It was pretty feasible for every student.The courses were offered at very nominal rate .Annual fee for my course was between Rs 5000 to 6000 . Rest all the courses were almost at the same value.
Fees and Financial Aid
No I don't know and have not taken any loan.There must be some good options available with the banks however I did not have to avail any of those.
Campus Life
Campus life was good but since we were day scholars so did not attend any hostel of the college. There were a lot of extracurricular activities in our college like sports, singing, dancing etc
Alumni/Alumna
My college seniors were like guiding angels.We were never ragged or made feel lower at any point in time.In fact they shared their notes and books with us
Exam Structure
Exams were structured and timely.We had quarterly tests, half yearly exams and final exams every year.
Faculty
Faculty was great with all the professors with great knowledge of the subject. The standard of studies was good enough for every student .The only challenge was that there were too many pupils in one class which sometimes came as hindrance in learning.
