Remarks

college faculty really care about students and provide them with opportunities every now and then.However they don't take student feedback seriously regarding a particular subject or faculty I don't know why

Course Curriculum Overview

we follow the savitri Bhai phule University pattern.exams are conducted every 2 months either online or unit test or theory paper.Labs are very big and everybody gets the computer or the machine we are working on.

Placement Experience

yes college helps us to get internships and placement easily.They invite companies to select student from campus. they conduct seminars in which various industrialists are invited.they also give placement training to students to get industry ready.

College Events

we have big cultural events every year and also technical events.they are really great and glam everybody awaits for the events whole year and we all participate and enjoy. we also have traditional day and theme day dj night

Fee Structure And Facilities

it's feasible for an average financially stable student.However this is true only for a student who got on merit basis while those who come thourough other means pay a handsome amount to get into this college.

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarships are offered by college thought various means like TFWS, migrant quota.There are various criteria as well especially for Maharashtra students and students have low financial background. Also PMSSS is also another scholarship for j&k students

Campus Life

Gender ratio is equal. All are Indians. All belong to good families and labs are well maintained with lab assistant always presenr there. Sports event is organised every year in which everybody participated enthusiastically

Hostel Facilities

hostel are well furnished hygenic good security quality food is provided. Warden is little strict. hostel closes at 8pm sharp. Hostel have few seats either a 3/4 seater. Private hostel are cheaper than college hostel

Alumni/Alumna

alumni are always satisfied as college helps them with placement.They share their stories how they overcame the challenges they faced during degree. They guide to take help from teachers regarding any confusion.

Admission

Thourough jee entrance merit basis got seat in college.I read about this college somewhere already and also my some of my cousins recommended it as their friends had a good experience here. Dyp is famous already

Faculty

everybody is highly qualified and helps with everything be it personal or professional.Most of faculty have completed PhD and are very helpful. They conduct teacher guide session as well which again is a good thing

placements start in 7th - 8th semester . Companies like wipro cisco and TCs etc visit. Average package is 4-5 LPA , and highest I could say 9 to 10 LPA .. my plans would be- if not got high paying job on campus I will try off campus too..

Placement Experience:

In my college students become eligible for campus placements from 7th semester and every year many companies come for hiring. Recently companies like TCS Accenture Cognizant Hitachi JSW Group Philips Axis Bank and some startups also visited so we get both IT and core chances. As per the latest data the highest package was around 24 LPA and the average stays around 6 to 6.5 LPA for most students and the lowest offers start from 3.5 LPA so it depends a lot on the role and company. Many students get placed but it mostly depends on skills performance and branch so it is not guaranteed for everyone. I feel the college gives decent chances but we also have to do our own preparation because competition is high. If I dont get placement from campus then I will try off campus also because there are many openings outside specially in IT. Overall placements are good for this level college and since companies keep coming for drives students who prepare properly usually get at least one offer.

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills. Later semesters introduce specialisation, electives, research projectsand soft skill training. The curriculum also includes personality development, entrepreneurship and innovation modules. A few departments could integrate new technologies fatser into the syllabus. Practical v/s theoretical balance: Labs, workshops and real world projects are a core part of the structure, especially in engineering, design, and science programs. My experience of iiit pune

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements once they enter 3rd year of college. Some notable companies that visit the campus is nomura, walmart, amazon, nvidia and they take 5-6 candidates each while nomura takes 15-16 per year. The highest on campus is 43 lakhs while off campus is around 1.4cr. average package is 14-15 lpa mostly for swe roles. Percentage student getting placed is 50% oncampus and if we add off campus the number goes to 80%. I plan to work in the industry for 2-3 years and then try to go for masters.

I have taken admission by qualifying the cet exam by 93 pecentile . The college gives admission through cet exams. The admission process is through CAP round if ur score is above 93 for girls and for boys the cut off is around 94 percentile and reduces according to category. If ur alloted with the college u have to pay full fees alloted to your category if you dont have the required category documents you will have to pay the full fees at the time of admissions .
