Remarks

Good: irrespective of student, teachers and other faculty - All maintain a friendly relationship bad: quality and experience of faculty needs improvement. we hope to get very organized and effetive administration in near future.

Entrance Preview

WBJEE There was only one way to get into this college.Formal interview also happened. interacting with principal at very first day was an awesome experience.

Course Curriculum Overview

Only btech degree is given. I choose information technology while taking admission. We have 40 intake per year. other dept are comp sc and leather technology.

Internships Opportunities

There was scholership for 10% to the meritorious studends provided by west bengal govt. We have also parallal merit scholership given through higher eduation dept.

Placement Experience

Placement opportunities is below averagen which has always been a big concern for the students here. though, now a days , it has improved a bit.

College Events

College arranges annual get together function. Other than that they arrange few sports event internally. Students play indoor games in recess time. library is one of the.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Semesterwise it was 12000/- tution fee and for exam it was 1000/-. Other dept like comp sc has 6000/- and leather tech has 3000/- as a tution fee. Exam fees are same for all dept.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions

I am not known about it. but corporation bank provides eduation loan to newly admitabble students. We do not fetch loan issues if required.

Campus Life

Male:female ratio would be arround 4:1 sports event, cultural events is regular. no political association is one of the best feature here. All students helds a friendly relationship.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel fee was 200/- and food charges was different. As quality is concerned, there was always a concern about that.

External Expense: Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni network is very strong. Current students gets referrence for job interview from seniors. Our cultural programme, which happens annualy , helps to get in touch with current students.

Exam Structure

Exam happens semester wise as defined as per makaut(previously wbut) . Question pattern and the standard are required to improve.

Faculty

Faculty count and their experience was above average. Though all these improved significantly. we hope our college will have better than what we had. More experienced faculty required.

Placement Experience:

From 7th semister students can sit for a placement. In our college or in our time we have limited companies.our college has invited 3 to 4 companies for placement. The highest package was- 7lakh/ annum. Avg package-3.5 lakh/annum, Percentage of students getting job -40% My plan for m.tech.

Remarks:

Positives of this college is mostly the fact that it is a functioning college. With labs and classrooms. The college has AC too. The DSC is also a big positive point. Negatives: the people, the redundant course, the initial 1.5 months of ragging.

College management is not as good as other colleges but there are very helpful to us. At first, I complete my 12th exam in science. Then I attended the WBJEE exam. After I good score on the WBJEE exam then I go to the counseling process. In This College We All are GCLETIAN

I heard about that college that many students of this college cracked the GATE exam in the running year and the college is very famous as it is established in 1919 and complete it's 100 years of glory.
