Remarks

Our atmosphere is green andy's kind of soothing to go to ground in between classes and refreshing.

Entrance Preview

In WBJEE exam i ranked under 400 and thus i got the opportunity to admit what course i wanted this college is best in eastern region.

Internships Opportunities

It's very good as university is well reputed we get the opportunity to get what we wanted from internship in google to tata.

Placement Experience

All departmentadmit got cent percent placements including core and software many got than one almost 70 percent students got job in core companies from 4 lakh to 12 lakh per annum company like Larsen and turbo, fb ,google, Amazon, Tata steel, Tata motors, tcs, cts etc.

College Events

University have three faculty engineering, arts, science faculties have their own festivals and its one weeklong each its feels good to admit in such a university we have sanskrtik, tech fest, western, video game, robot fight, ramp walk, football match, cricket.

Fees and Financial Aid

No i don't know about loans but its very cheap Tution fees so dont need their are diffrent scholarships if you are good student then you get 30 thousand plus yearly.

Campus Life

Vamos life is great its oneida the life's you don't get second time do we try to enjoy it in engineering faculty female radio is less but in arts, commerce ratio is healthy their are various opportunity for extracurricular activity like mountaineering, photo class etc.

Hostel Facilities

Hostels are pretty good its as cheap as penniless foods are in our hand so no problem authority normally does not interfere in our life hostel have gym, playground, common hall, in ladies hostel security is also tight so overallhostel are pretty good.

External Expense: Rs. 4000 - Rs. 7000

Alumni/Alumna

Seniors students are now well known faces in India and outside also they are from politics to astrophysics to coding.

Faculty

Faculty is good not best course structure is very good as our college is autonomous body some senior professors are very good they are connected to isro, drdo so research is good we got various opportunity to select our elective according to our interest.

Placement Experience:

Eligibility for placement is from 3rd year,with tier 1 companies visiting like Google, Amazon along with mass requiters like TCS, Capgemini, Wipro etc.Last year heights placement package was 72LPA offered to 15 students and average was 2-3 LPA.

Okay college and decent placement

Placement Experience:

The campus placement is same as all low 3 tier colleges which is nearly 4-5 lpa average salary given by mass recuitor companies .The companies are infosys , ltimindtree , accenture , ibm , capgemini , cognigent , etc .The placement rate is nearly 60 to 70 percent.

Heritage Institute of Technology: A Detailed Observation

Placement Experience:

The students become eligible for campus placements from third year that is after 5th semester. Companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Cognizant and IBM are amongst the mass hirers. Almosy 80 percent of the students get placed every year and the top 10 percent of the students receive high paying job offers. The average package is around 4.86 LPA and in 2023, the highest package was 16 LPA and in 2022, the highest package was 44 LPA. Talking about my future plans, I wish to pursue my masters abroad after completing my undergraduate course here.

Like my main was getting to IIT which I couldn't as U couldn't clear JEE advanced.So my next option was to choose between NITS and JU.So clearly choose JU because it completes our BE in 10k whereas the fees of NITs are really high.So as I gave JEE in 2024 my jee main rank was something around 64K (95.5 percentile) and my wbjee rank was 2341 and got alloted food Technology and biochemical engineering in jadavpur university.The process to get into our college is to give wbjee and if u are a general your rank should be within 2500 to get into this premium college....Read More

Homebound Forward with Jadavpur University

I have always wanted to study in Jadavpur University in one of their literature departments since I was a kid. This was a way of achieving a tiny dream of mine. Moreover, the Comparative Literature Department is the best in all entire Asia and the first one in the country. I wanted to experience the greatness of this course and how the canons of this literature were formed here. It is also the topmost State Public University and 9th in NIRF I wanted to be a part of an institution that could be great to this extent. The admission took place on the basis of a merit-based entrance examination. The seats are limited; therefore, only the top 15 students out of almost 800-1000 who appeared for the exam were selected. The Pros and Cons of Joining Jadavpur University Masters of Arts in Economics

1) I applied for Delhi School of Economics, however couldn't manage an admission due to the extreme cutoff on CUET exam for the same. I had confirmed admission from North Bengal University, however it was not feasible since I had a choice in Jadavpur University. Jadavpur University has the best rank among all other colleges I had a confirmed admission to, so I chose this University. 2) I wanted to study in Delhi School of Economics, but couldn't make it there due to the extensive cutoff in CUET which I unfortunately couldn't clear. 3) Jadavpur University conducts its own internal exam for admission into its esteemed Masters of Arts [M.A.] programme. However one can get through by CUET exams as well, however that needs a decent score.
