Remarks

For me, Sri Ram College of Commerce is one of the best College all over India be it in terms of placement, experience or knowledge. No other colleges offer this much of opportunities to students. Be it academics or extra curricular activities, this college gives the best.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

Course for 1st year is more or less related to what we have already done in our 11th and 12th classes as a commerce student. And 2nd year course is littele bit extention of everything with many new subjects also, like cost accounting, public finance etc. There are practical subjects like Computer Application in Business and E-filing of Returns, which are also good to brief about how everything is practically done. All in all the course syllabus is good and exams are held smemster wise which is also satisfactory.

Placement Experience

4.5

Placement and Job Opportunities are veruly good if you really want to do something. I guess need not to mention that the highest placement reaches to around 31 to 32 lakhs. Although average ranges around 10-12 lakhs and that's enough gor a graduated student. From the big companies to start-ups, there are lots of job opportunities. Also internship programmes are also good. There is a placement cell which looks after internships for students time ti time and the stipend provides goes to aroumd 60000 to 75000 for some compaines. And the work experience is also highly appreciated.

College Events

5

There are mainly two annual fests of College which are "Business Conclave" and "Crossroads". Crossroads is the biggest fest organised in all over DU with avergae budget of around 60-8 lakhs. It's a 4 day fest with 4 star nights and very others cultural programmes. Also apart from m these two there are more than 50 socitiess in our college which also organises their respective fests. Hence the college is very socially and culturally active.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee sturucture is quite feasible. The annual fees is 30000 and we do not need to pay anything extra as examination fee and all. With this minimal fee amount the deliverables are quite more, AC centralized campus, huge library, placement and internship opportunities, qualified faculty, sports complex and good experience.

Fees and Financial Aid

There are various scholarships offered by the college. I haven't avalied any of them because I didn't know it earlier. In my second year I got to know about them. There are merit bases scholarships as well as scholarships for financially weak students. The scholarships amount varies.

Campus Life

4.5

As I have mentioned there are around 50 socities in our college which are very active. They cover almost every activity be it sports, drama, singing, dancing, entrepreneurship, social welfare, computers, finance etc. The participation and interest of students is also very high.

Hostel Facilities

4

I haven't been to hostel so I don't know kuch about that. All I know Is there are very limited seats and the rent is around 50000-60000 per annum which is quite feasible. There are twin sharing rooms with breakfast, dinner and lunch.

Alumni/Alumna

Seniors are quite helpful. Although I haven't met any alumni. But I share a very good and special bond with me seniors. Because of society culture, all the students happenes to have contact and bonds with their seniors because they need to work together.

Admission

The admission was simply based upon 12th percentage. I got my admission in the second cut off list. Simply submitted all my documents required and got the admission. There is no interview or entrance exam. I chose this college because this is the best college of commerce in India and was also near to my hometown.

Faculty

4

The interest of faculty depends and varies from person to person. There are some teachers who are very devoted and teaches each and everything in the class, takr timly tests and feedbacks. But there also some who just take presentations from all the subjects of the whole syllabus and just make themsleves free of teaching. But when it comes to qualifications and knowledge, they all are really good.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculam is well-structured and covers all the core subject relevant to the field . It help in building strong theroritcial knowledge but lacks enough real-world case studies and industry exposure . Exam are conducted regularly and are of moderate difficulty . Adding more project-based or skill oriented components would make the course more practical and beneficial for placements or higher studies .

When students enter 3rd year of their college , they are eligible to sit for placements but should have minimum 8 CGPA .A lot of companiess visit campus , details of companies are on the website of college. The highest placement till now is 20 Lakhs per Annum and average goes around 6-7 Lakhs per Annum. A decent percentage of students get placed. Honestly most students here are pursuing professional courses so they don't sit for placements instead continue with their courses .
