College Days

College has a really Good infrastructure. There are 2 buildings one is old and the another one is the new One. The new building labs, infrastructure everything is really good. It's beautiful. Even the Auditorium is good for Events. It's too large around 2000-4000 people can seat in the auditorium.

Course was really well structured. For 2 years we were following the course structure given by Mumbai University. And in last year i.e. 3rd year Our college got Autonomous so our faculties were used to select the Syllabus for us and they selected the best for us. Exams were somehow hectic as always for every student but the labs was cool. Labs were the most chilled place for studying and doing practicals.

Placements and job opportunities are also good. All top MNC's came for our pool Placement. Companies like TCS, Infosys, LTI, E&Y, Wipro, Capgemini etc came for our placements. We used to go to different colleges for Pool Placement.

Every Year minimum 3-4 events used to happen in our college. Every year one Technical event from our department happens. Event name is Cyberstrike where all the techies can participate for playing computer games, for Hackathon, for debates and many more.

Fee Structure is also feasible as compared to different top colleges. Fees was around 20000-22000 yearly at my time. Where different Colleges used to take 30000-40000. And also the college was in Porsche area.

Since the college is of Sindhis so they used to provide special quota for Sindhi students. Or else no scholarship or loan was provided by our college. Only the castes other than General/Open gets discount in their fees.

There were a lot of Extracurricular activities to do. Every week there were some events going on from different departments. Some for Social awareness, some for entertainment, so some for knowledge. For Sports ground was there for badminton, volleyball.

There are a lot many of Alumni from our College who are doing good in there life now. They have achieved a great success in there life. Many Alumni like Aishwarya Rai, John Abraham etc. who are graduated from our College. Also the Seniors are really helpful.

I was new in the city in 2016. I don't know at that time which college is best for doing BSc IT. So I applied in around 15-20 colleges by going there, paying form fee and filling the admission form. Then afterwards few days, merit list came so I got admission in 4-5 colleges in 1st merit list and Jai Hind was the one everyone suggested me to go to. So I choose Jai Hind College.

Faculties were really good. Every Teacher in our college was atleast Post Graduated. Their teaching pattern was really different than every other faculty of our College. They used to prepare the presentations from 4-5 different books of the course for our better understanding.
