Overall my experience there was very good. There are always some pros and cons but what matters is our experience over there. If we see college as single entity there are some cons regarding facilities. But as it is in a university campus so those gets covered in that.

Curriculum was very well planned. We never felt hectic. We had 8 semesters, in each of which we had 2 minors exam and 1 major exam. Labs and classes were also interesting. I actually quite enjoyed it. Just one con was there, the duration of labs was 3 hours which was just a little too much.

Placements and jobs opportunities are very good. Almost everyone of us who wanted a job got it. College also provide internship. For us, it was like we had our placements in 7th semester. So in 8th semester we did training in the same company in which we were placed. So in this way after leaving college. We directly started our job without any training. That was actually a plus point here. Also we didn't had to give exam for 8th sem if we were having our training. We just had to show the training project.

We had a cultural and technical fest goonj. We also had some fund raising events. Basant panchmi and holi were the best ones. Also technical competitions were also there. Sports events under university.

40000 to 50000 approx every semester. It was feasible to normal middle class family. But to some it was not. So they arranged themselves with study loan. As study loan for this University gets approved.

I don't know about any scholarships. But yes loan facility is there. We have separate bank branch in our college so we can get the required help from there. Sbi bank branch provides required loan to students.

Labs are there and also different workshops. With respect to sports, it is a liitle less. But we always have University's common sports events. Basketball, tennis, cricket, boxing, badminton and all the sports we have were there.

Yes, i opted for hostel. Hostel facilities were very good. There is not timing restriction now. Also have all the facilities like common room canteen mess gym etc in each hostel. And a common library in University which we can use for late night studying as well.

Not much helpful they are. College alumini connection are not good. To be honest, we never met any alumini in our college time. Just one time before placements they arranged a session where we met an alumni.

I got admission in this college thourough JEE mains ranking. I also had another option to choose thapar University patiala. But i chose this because it was in my favorite city Chandigarh. And also panjab University in itself is a brand.

Faculty was very supportive. For some subjects, we felt that we didn't have professor with proper field knowledge. It was like professor with a major of database was put into teaching digital etc. So that was actually a con point in case of faculty. Faculty had knowledge in their own field but they were given classes on basis of there field.
