Remarks

Overall its a very good college among the self financed colleges in kolkata or in west bengal. Only the location is little bit awkward. But the college campus is totally okay. Communication is also okay. Auto and toto are available from metro and railway stations.

Course Curriculum Overview

I'm doing btech in computer science & engineering. This is nba accredited cource from this college, the syllabus, exams are conducted by maulana abul kalam azad university of technology. Exams are taken semester wise and there are 2 unit tests in each semester.

Placement Experience

Job, placements are offered. Some companies come directly to the college and the rest comes to the main campus of techno india group in saltlake, kolkata. And invites us for the pooled campusing. Students must have clear academics, as because most of the reputed companies doesn't allow students having supplies

College Events

Events like, cultural fest, technical fest occurs. And quiz competition, coding competition, etc occurs frequently. Different clubs are for different events, for sports there's a club called zest, for the technical events the phoenix club is there. Another one is developer students club. For the coding, hacking events.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Its about 4lakhs for a 4 year btech course. Its like all other btech colleges. The fee structure is not that much expensive. The admission fee or the first sem fee is higher than the other ones. This can be matter of concern

Fees and Financial Aid

Loan facility offered through the college affiliated brach of pnb. Students having a good academic record can get this loan facility easily. The loan emi will be taken from the students account after completion of the course.

Campus Life

Lab, workshops are well furnished and equipped. Lab assistant is also helpful. Both the sections of each year have seperate routine. Lab and workshops are conducted for about 3hours. The computer labs are air conditioned.

Hostel Facilities

There's no hostel, only mess is available nearby. The students reside in the mess or as paying guests. Cook and maid are also available if someone chooses to take a flat in rent. There are many rooms and mess, pgs available nearby.

External Expense: Rs.2000 - rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna

The seniors and alumni are supportive and friendly. There's no idea of ragging. The alumni comes to the college in every alumni programmes. Some of them are doing masters in from the same institution.

Admission

This college takes admission through various entrance exams like aieee, wbjee, jelet. I took lateral admission through jelet, directly in second year. As i've completed diploma in computer science and technology, i've taken admission directly in 2nd year.

Faculty

Faculties are good as well as strict. Some of them allow late entry into the class, for a limited time. They teach well enough to score marks in university exams. Teacher's are friendly if we maintain the attendance and submit assignments in time.

Yes our college offers campus placements.Students from 4th year are eligible for campus placements.Many reputed nation and international companies like microsoft,Wipro,TCS, Infosys and many more companies offrers placement every year in this college. arrording to 2025 deta overall placement rate was 82 percent, Highest packege was 80 lpa and average packege was 12.6lpa. My only plan to get a good placements.

7th semester is when the students get to sit for placements. I am not sure about the total no of companies visited but I am aware of the name of few companies like IBM Infosys Wipro Capsitech Tech Mahindra cognizant etc . Mostly the girls are 100 percent placed cause there is diversity hiring. Mass recruiters is what visit our campus mostly.. I personally would look for a job after graduation highest package offered displayed by college is 75 lpa but I don't think so it is real. Maybe someone had worked hard and got placed off campus. On campus highest isbi guess 12-14 lpa

- I choose Data Science as it is new to my college when comparing with the other branches. NIT Durgapur:-A wholesome Insight in the college life and it's different aspects

Placement Experience:

For campus placements student become eligible from the 7th semester onwards and for internships student get eligible from 5th semester onwards. Wide no of companies visited our campus around 180+ and made around 580+ offers to the students. The highest salary was 58LPA which was offered by DE Shaw and the highest accepted salary was 51LPA in Microsoft.The average package rolls roughly around 10-12 LPA.The profile offered include SDE roles, management roles,finance in some cases.The overall placement percentage was around 80% with Branches like electrical and metallurgy moving above 90% followed by CSE and ECE in the mid 80s while for biotech and civil the placement percentage are generally below 70.My plans after getting the degree is to land a job offer from on campus placements.Therefafter maybe look out for and MBA from top B schools of india.

NSEC: Where learning meets oppurtunity

i applied to colleges like techno main saltlake, heritage, meghnad saha institute , STCET. But I preffered this college as the fees is less compared to others. Also the college is nearer to my home, which would reduce the travel time. I could'nt make to college like Jadavpur University due to low rank. For admission WBJEE rank is required with 10+2 qualification. Students need to register through wbjee counselling, fill their preferences and then colleges are alloted according to their rank. I choose this college because this college is in top 5 private colleges in west bengal,the admission process is like that we have to come to the college with some of our documents like 10th,12th results and wbjee result and upgradation form if we had tried to upgrade in 1st round of counseling . I scored around 92 %ile in my JEE mains in 2022 and particupated in counselling. In my JEE mains counselling. I was not allotted a good college I was allotted some of the Government colleges like Assam University but I preferred come going to a private college over going to a college which is in north east or far from my home and even not that famous at a rank of 77000 I was allotted IT in this college.
