Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course curriculum varies from course to course. Different courses have different tendencies for different Industrial visits and the college tries it's best to fulfill the needs. Courses like applied physical science have their own industry visits and couses like journalism have their own. But I feel courses like language Hons and business studies and all needs a little more help from college for more exploration. The exam structure is strict and the attendance is mandatory for one to get to the exams. The evaluation of the ecams is done by the university itself.

Placement Experience

3.5

The college invites a number of placement and internship. There is specific society in college namely the Training and Placement Cell TPC which works for the same. Apart from then courses like journalism and mass communication have a lot internships available from the starting of the college itself. I am in first year and haven't been in any internship yet

College Events

4.5

The college celebrates a lot events thought the year. Bodies like spicmacay and different cultural societies maintains the festival zeel in the college campus. The college celebrates its youth festival in the 2nd or 3 rd month of the year where it invites a number of college from the whole campus to come and perform the different artforms. College holds a number of different compititions for a couple of days and offers cash prizes and reward along with certificates. The festival ends with a Star Night where a youth icon, a celebrity is invited for the entrainment and enjoyment for all.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is somewhere between feasible and expensive. The fee is quiet affordable in most of the courses but it's a little high in some couses. The fee ranges form 12,000 to 16,000 for a year not including the exam fee which is an approximation of 1000 and to be paid twice a year. My course fee is 16,000 for a year along with that exam fee is 1,250. As a whole it is about 20,000 for a year.

Fees and Financial Aid

The college as well as university offers scholarship opportunities for students. The university provides scholarship as per the scheme NSP i.e. National Scholarship Program. Under the program the students belonging to the SC, ST and OBC category are provided with annual scholarship. The college provided aid funds to students.

Campus Life

4.5

The campus life is quiet smooth and chearing. The campus is quiet diversed and it feels great to be in such good, harmonic and friendly campus. The gender ration on the campus is about 1:2 where there is one girl on every two boys. The college life here offers a lot opportunity for extracurricular activities There are about 10 different cultural societies which ranges from debating society to art and craft. The North-East students have their own soviety. The college hava a huge campus including sporty grounds Indoors and outdoors. There is a number of sports available. Along with sports, cultural meets, fests, the college goes under a number of different compititions through the year.

Hostel Facilities

4

No I haven't opted for student hostel because there isn't one for boys. The college have a girls hostel which is told to be quiet affordable and safe by the girl classmates of mine. The hostel's security is maintained as it seems from outside. Boys aren't allowed at all into the premiers of the hostel.

Alumni/Alumna

The senior student are a lot helpful. Those who are available in college helps but the one who are alumnis, are also a lot helpful. A 4 year senious of mine have developed an software namely Electrostudy available on Google play store. The app helps a lot in getting the contents and study material and all.

Admission

The college is affiliated from The University of Delhi and the admission process takes place on marit list basis. I took admission in the college in year 2019 in accordance with the second merit list of Delhi university. The second list came on 8th of July and I went to the college on next day. I got the admission done by the evening. I went to college again on orientation day which was on 20 th July and joined college by 22nd of the some month.
