College life.

It's good. There are some advantages and also there are some disadvantages.

Curriculum is good. They use digital boards for teaching. We in our curriculum have three industry based trainings. They are meant for gaining practical knowledge.The no of companies visiting the campus are less these years. So one has to opt a non- core job in campy placements.

Placement is pretty good for compu science department.We have a good placement in other departments too. There are no internships for our department. But there are three industrial trainings. I have completed one in last summer. This summer I will complete remaining two. I have a future plan of going into software field.

Our technical fest is Axis which is celebrated February every year. Our cultural fest is Aarohi which is celebrated October every year. Our cultural and technical fests are central India's biggest fests. Every year a specific chief guest is invited.

Academic fee is 1.25 lakh per annum which is quite expensive. But for SC and ST students there is absolutely no academic fee. For other students whose family annual income is less than 1 lakh there is no academic fee. For those whose annual income is between 1 and 5 lakh they have to pay total fee. Later they will get a remission of two thirds of fee.

No I haven't opted for any educaty loan. But my family's income fall in category of income between 1 and 5 lakh. So I get two thirds of fee back.

Campus life is absolutely good. There is no gender bias.Initially gender ratio was not good. But these days no of girls admitting are increasing. There is a good sports complex. There is a gymnasium. Iv labs is the robotics club of our college. Something new happens everyday.

Yes I have opted hostel. Hostels are impressively good. There is no water problem. There is 24 hour wifi facility. In first and second year of course you have share the room. For third and final years everyone has his own room.

Alumni network is quite impressive. Alumni are in very good posts. They do something good for college. Recently they provided electric vehicles and helped in constructing a night canteen.

The admission is based on the score in JEE MAIN exam conducted by CBSE. Unfortunately my score was less. So I had to opt Mining Engineering.The only I joined the college is because the college is of national importance. Based on rank you got,you have to fill the preferences. Based on your preferences and the rank you will get a particular course.

Good faculty but not best. No of professors in my department are eight. Their average age is around 40.Some of them have a very long experience and are really good in teaching. Some of them are young and they are not good at teaching. Unfortunately the subject which is being taught doesn't suit industrial needs.
