Remarks

I find Christ University to be a really good College where students are moulded with experiences and new talents to cope up with difficulties in future. The professionalism in the College maintained and discipline structure is quite strict but this is what keeps a student keep up with such discipline.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

There will be 4 stages in examination. 1. CIA 1. (20 MARKS) 2. CIA 2(MID-SEM). (50 MARKS) 3. CIA 3. (20 MARKS) 4. ATTENDANCE (85%). (5 MARKS) 5. END-SEM (100 MARKS) 1+2+3 will be divided by 2. And the 5 marks of attendance will be added. 100 marks of End Sem will be divided by 2 and both divided marks will be added to get the final grade. It will be hectic than thought.

Placement Experience

4

Yes. The strong placement cell at Christ has been functioning effectively for over 20 years. The specialised placement centers here, have developed over time, to make the recruitment process more effective and efficient. In the past few years, 100 of students have got placed in reputed and top companies. The university invites the recruiters for final Placements from November 10th 2019 to December 10th 2019 and January 2nd 2020 to 31st March 2020. Total Number of Organizations participated in the placements drive, was 142.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees for the BA and BSC is low compared to others it will be around 35000 And for BCOM it will be around 50000 For Professional studies it will be around 1,75,000 to 2,00,000. Normally the fee is not based on the quality of education, it is based on the facilities. Because, the students of BA and BSC will be there in 1st block which is 50 years old and that's the reason why they are paying less.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes there are two types of scholarships we get here. 1. For being economically poor (family without government job) 2. For being scored more If we score more in our END-SEMESTER examination they will give us scholarship

Campus Life

4

Yes Christ is really known for it's sports and co Curricular activities. There is no gender discrimination. To promote women empowerment our College recruits 8000 girls and 7000 boys per year. There is no matter how you are? and who you are? you are allowed to do anything you want without affecting others.

Hostel Facilities

5

I stay in PG and I pay 7500 per month including everything like TV, washing machine, WiFi, food, electricity etc But there will be more other expenses even though we stay in PG. Because the food will not be according to the way we ate in our home and we need to adjust a lot.

Alumni/Alumna

They will come to our College and meet us and guide us. They will help us in tackling the present problems faced by the students who stays far from home and addiction of intoxicants etc. And there are many alumni coming and visiting our university even from the Army. We will get help and support from them.

Admission

Actually I know that the NCC in Christ is one of the best companies in India. And the reason of taking HEP is I wanted to go to Civil services or in the army and HEP will be helpful to me. The process of interview is a bit harder than I thought.

Faculty

4.5

Very trained and experienced. Yes, the faculty at Christ support and encourage start-ups, it's just that you need to identify the best person in the particular department. There were talks of setting up an ICUBATION CENTRE inside the campus from the next upcoming academic year (2018–2019), and I have also heard that it's launched.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because of the dual degree that it has to offer, christ is one of the very few institutions that offer dual degree and allow you to explore both the subjects or gain combined knowledge of both the subjects. The curriculum is very up to date with subjects that relate to real world problems. What i like the most about my curriculum is the Learner centric approach where they divide the class into halves so that the teacher student ratio can be maintained in order to achieve full efficiency. One area of improvement can be inculcating more soft skills traininng into it.

Course Curriculum Overview:

- curriculum specially for BA is not like how you see in other universities it's a comprehensive curriculum where your also studying subject like AI learning, data analysis, regional languages and so much more it is a comprehensive course which is not only focusing on your major but also on an overall development of you as a student.. - well we are not only getting in-class lectures but we also have a internal component of internship every year which helps us get an experience of real world situations and job market. -There is one course called numbers we have that could be improved it basically talks about mathematical in economic applications numerical implications particularly which has not been given more thought on it could be more elaborated and structured well. - frequency is high and difficulty is moderate usually.

Placement Experience:

Placements are good. Students arw given chances to take exams and get job opportunities from there. Field trips and internships, orientations, talk shows are organized to prepare students further before stepping out for jobs. They can either take the placements they get or opt for higher studies, which is what i am doing as a degree in psychology alone does not grant a wide scope in the jobs spectrum.
