I feel one of best aspects of ny life is College experience. Being equiped with corporate life, I feel the need for it again in my life. The support, friends and exposure I've gained in my College life is invaluable.
Course Curriculum Overview
I wanted to take admission in Bcom only as i had thought to pursue CA along with my graduation. With course structure in line with my CA course studying graduation level concepts helped me in that aspect.
Placement Experience
In 2nd year College provides exposure to internship in various fields with different types of entities. In 3rd year excellent placement opportunities in domains of consultancy,banking and advisory are offered.
College Events
Annual College fest is called Crossroads and is claimed to be the best cultural festival of Delhi University. Having performances by renowned singers and musicians,its delight for all students. Entry to the fest is limited through passes.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Feasibility depends on economic background of person studying. For me it was very feasible if compared to similar courses offered by private universities without much recognition. So yes the fees structure is very much feasible.
Fees and Financial Aid
College had offered a number of scholarship opportunities both need based and merit based. Few of them being Mitsubishi scholarship, KPMG Scholarship etc. Also students performing well were recognised at annual day with monetary awards.
Campus Life
Be it working for social causes through Enactus, pursuing passion for dramatics, music and dance, College provides full support to its students. The exposure is immense. I being a part of Dramatics Society won 21 awards.
Alumni/Alumna
Our College is characterized by rich alumni base. Be it our ex finance minster Shri Arun Jaitley, Chairman of EY- Rajiv Memani. you'll find gems in all walks of life with their roots based in SRCC. Also the beauty is whenever College has needed them,they have stood for it.
Admission
My name appeared in cut off list released by the College. Next day I had to go and the admission process was smooth enough to be completed within 2 hrs with support of volunteers around. I had opted for BCom(H) and getting admission was difficult. But my score was enough to help me get in through 1st merit list.
Faculty
Being no. 1 commerce College as expected the faculty were well qualified and experienced. They were very supportive and kind. They had positive outlook towards our growth and development. They always encouraged us to participate in extra curricular activities.
