Remarks

It is good. But It can be better. Some internal structures are to be taken care of.Thats it.More, teachers, more developed laboratory, more hostel are required now.Otherwise, its a fine college. It got one award in December 2019 as Asias beat medical college or like that.Cannot remember exactly.Prize distribution was in thiland.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

It's MBBS.One of the toughest course. If not interested in the course, better to leave it at the very beginning.4and 1/2 year and 19 subjects. All you have to do is,read it,mug it up and revise it.Exams are very frequent,so often we find ourselves in sleepless nights.Course is lengthy and shortend time structure. So,lot of pressures are there.

Placement Experience

5

It's a government MBBS college,so no need to tension about it.If you get passed from here, then your job and salary are permanent. All set. But,it requires to pass the 19 subjects qith dignity that is the main catch here.

College Events

5

Anastomosis,Swabhiman,Impulse,Bani Bandana,Other gaming tournaments.First three are the big events. It takes our auditorium.Singers come in college.Fest, freshers are there.DJ,dance, competition all are there. All students participate in these.

Fee Structure And Facilities

4572 is the per semester fee of college.Very much feasible fee.9 sems are there. The other non academic fees are just for events ofganised by unions like anastomosis, impulse etc etc. No,extra donation or other fee

Fees and Financial Aid

I don't know this very well. But,these can be availed I guess. So,have to do a inquiry at the students section. Also, contact the dean and principal. They might help in this processs. All are very helpful

Campus Life

4

No politics, students are friendly.Heterosexually oriented,no difference between religion, cast, gender at all.Boys are currently less in number in college.Male :femal---1.2:1.so the ratio is not a high one.Students come here from different parts of India

Hostel Facilities

4

Hosels are very nice.2-3 person per room. All live in unity. All our furnitures are to be taken by us.nothing were given by hostel. But,system is very good.Everybody helps each other.Need another hostel. We,heard in some of the medical colleges, rooms are allotted singly. So,thats also a good idea for accomodation

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni ar3 fell connected through social media as well. All are busy in their field right now.All alumni are invited in college parties, events like Anastomosis,Impulse, and they also participate in all events.

Admission

We had to give NEET examination. After than, according to the ranks, the colleges were allotted.I got Midnapore Medical College.I also wanted to become a zoology professor in College. So opted for zoology Honrs, but later got the idea of serving the nation. And solely, that's the reason I am here in MMC

Faculty

4

Faculties are great. They have vast knowledge but some times(my personal thought),they are reluctant to teach us.So,they, don't give their best all time. Also, teachers are less.Labs need quite improvement with various apparatus.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Medical field is a really good field in my opinion to serve humankind and learn about science of nature and life!the curriculum is a little overpaced and there are 19 subjects which are taught in a timespan of 4.5 years which is a bit hectic! There are 4 professional exams and 9 semesters which have pretty good difficulty and assess our skills and education. We have regular examinations in around 4-5 months each. Only thing id like to change in the curriculum is better assessment of many topics which are taught pretty well but aren't examined much leading us to waste our time in focussing on them.
