Remarks

The college authorities promised to provide with the wifi network but actually we are not provided by wifi but the college Is fully air-conditioned and basically its a good college the classrooms are well furnished the teachers are okay okay types basical

Entrance Preview

This is a well renowned college and moreover this college's faculty for commerce is quite good and also very important it is an all girls college.

College Events

Srijaa is an annual college fest and it is very very big attracts a lot of other renowned colleges students. Fesher party and cultual fest and many events celebrate in this college.

Fees and Financial Aid

I don't know anything about the scholarships and loans available.

Campus Life

It is a girls college no gender ratio. There are many department's related with different courses. There are many extracurricular activities like sports yoga debates workshops cultural activities etc. Economic status is quite good.

Hostel Facilities

There are no hostels under the college authority and I am a local resident nd so I have got no idea about the PG'S.

Seniors are very good and generous and even i had a very good experience with the alumni.

St Joseph's college a Decent one

Placement Experience:

Placements were not there earlier. But our batch was the first one to get placement at St Joseph's College Darjeeling. To be honest It is not a college you should target if you are looking for placement. The companies were too small . The roles are way to entry level . Highest placement was around 40000 per month but it was an inside sales role so many opt out. There is not official data about placement . My plan was to look for off campus jobs.

Placement Experience:

from 3rd semester, students become eligible for campus placement. Various Jewelleries company has visited, and even companies like Google, Tata and many has visited. As per i know the highest package were in lacs per month. The college provides 100% placement. After getting the degree, I'll do masters in business administration.

I did chose this course to learn more about accounting and finance and the cirriculum prepares you perfectly for the real world. SXC is invaluable to me!

Placement Experience:

Highest package of our program has been 20 lakhs. Companies like EY, DeShaw, ITC, CESC and many others which are multi billion dollar groups were the ones which are invited for placements. Batch size including morning and evening is of 400 students and nearly 200 gets placements in dream companies. Roles of business analyst and accounting are provided and SAP is taught in our college so those who know that gets job easily.

Placement Experience:

At our college placements are good and many core companies or finance and IT are here for placements and intenrships as well. Average placements from what I have checked is around 4-5 lakhs per year for B.Com (Hons) students.

SAJC - From The Eye of a Student.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is of course outdated. Teaching methods are old. No case studies, competitions or project of any sort is there in the curriculum. Although a project of 100 marks is there in the final sem, but I don't think that's enough. There is no practicality in the curriculum and usability in career. The syllabus really needs an uplifment.

Good for studying but should improve for recruitment

The application form is available on the college website and every other detail regarding fees and application date is available there.
