Chemical engineering is very useful course. Getting job is easy in this course. 92% campusing in our department and our gate score is also good. The exam is held in semester basis duration 6 months each semester

Yes, the placement and internship facility is here in our college. In third year we get a chance to intern and pre placement offer. And final year there are lot of companies came here and 92% placement

Cultural: Sanskriti, you turn, Ibtida, E cell, Reunion, Chem bridge, Freshers. Technical: Robot, Programming Management festival: Arena, Ibtida, you turn, Chemiphany, Chemoflage, Physed, Ajantrik Recap. There are lot of festival happen.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is unbelievable. It's world cheapest college. the admission fee is 725 rupees after third year we pay 2400 rupees. and semester fee is 60-70 per semester and hostel fee is 1800 per month. free WiFi.

FFE. It is for engineering students under rank 2000. And Alumni for needy students. It give 15000 per annum. And many other scholarships respect to rank. It is cheapest college so the scholarship is not necessary for students

There are lot of labs, library, workshop, computer lab, playground. Asia's number one workshop, blueearth workshop is here.

Hostel Facilities

All departments and all departments stay together. there are 9 hostel campus in JU. all the floor have mess committee and the fee is 1800 per month. All game court is here. And good food and bed. they provide one table and chair per student

Admission

I give the West Bengal joint entrance examination and clear the cut off for entering in JU. I score 102 out of 200 and got chemical engineering for UG course. After that I sit on counseling and got JU chemical engineering

Highly qualified professor teach us, maximum teacher got award from various field. The professor are student friendly and helpful. If a student not understand lecture then teacher give him a chance for doubt clearing.

Placement Experience:

Eligibility for placement is from 3rd year,with tier 1 companies visiting like Google, Amazon along with mass requiters like TCS, Capgemini, Wipro etc.Last year heights placement package was 72LPA offered to 15 students and average was 2-3 LPA.

Okay college and decent placement

Placement Experience:

The campus placement is same as all low 3 tier colleges which is nearly 4-5 lpa average salary given by mass recuitor companies .The companies are infosys , ltimindtree , accenture , ibm , capgemini , cognigent , etc .The placement rate is nearly 60 to 70 percent.

Placement Experience:

The students become eligible for campus placements from third year that is after 5th semester. Companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Cognizant and IBM are amongst the mass hirers. Almosy 80 percent of the students get placed every year and the top 10 percent of the students receive high paying job offers. The average package is around 4.86 LPA and in 2023, the highest package was 16 LPA and in 2022, the highest package was 44 LPA. Talking about my future plans, I wish to pursue my masters abroad after completing my undergraduate course here.

Placement Experience:

Despite the low fee structure, my college provides a good placements. Almost every student of CSE Dept who sit for placement, gets the placement between 4lpa - 6lpa. Last year the highest package was ?12 lpa. ECE department has the lowest percentage of placements. And other engineering departments have between 60-70% placement. All the mentioned above is the description of in campus placement. Not many students of my college opt for out campus. But if they do, they get good placements as per the reports. In 2021 a student secured the job in Microsoft, with the placement of ?45 lpa (out campus).

Like my main was getting to IIT which I couldn't as U couldn't clear JEE advanced.So my next option was to choose between NITS and JU.So clearly choose JU because it completes our BE in 10k whereas the fees of NITs are really high.So as I gave JEE in 2024 my jee main rank was something around 64K (95.5 percentile) and my wbjee rank was 2341 and got alloted food Technology and biochemical engineering in jadavpur university.The process to get into our college is to give wbjee and if u are a general your rank should be within 2500 to get into this premium college....Read More

Homebound Forward with Jadavpur University

I have always wanted to study in Jadavpur University in one of their literature departments since I was a kid. This was a way of achieving a tiny dream of mine. Moreover, the Comparative Literature Department is the best in all entire Asia and the first one in the country. I wanted to experience the greatness of this course and how the canons of this literature were formed here. It is also the topmost State Public University and 9th in NIRF I wanted to be a part of an institution that could be great to this extent. The admission took place on the basis of a merit-based entrance examination. The seats are limited; therefore, only the top 15 students out of almost 800-1000 who appeared for the exam were selected. The Pros and Cons of Joining Jadavpur University Masters of Arts in Economics

1) I applied for Delhi School of Economics, however couldn't manage an admission due to the extreme cutoff on CUET exam for the same. I had confirmed admission from North Bengal University, however it was not feasible since I had a choice in Jadavpur University. Jadavpur University has the best rank among all other colleges I had a confirmed admission to, so I chose this University. 2) I wanted to study in Delhi School of Economics, but couldn't make it there due to the extensive cutoff in CUET which I unfortunately couldn't clear. 3) Jadavpur University conducts its own internal exam for admission into its esteemed Masters of Arts [M.A.] programme. However one can get through by CUET exams as well, however that needs a decent score.
