Remarks

Well, it was my college so I won't say it was bad but some changes are required.

Placement Experience

0.5

No placement drives were conducted. I used Internshala for getting internships. Actually, nothing was done for placements.

College Events

0.5

We used to have our department fest but this year they selected only a few people and they didn't select me who does that to an alumnus who has made a mark in the writing industry I have a solo book, I'm a part of three international anthologies. Participation is okayish.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Neft was the only mode for payment no extra charge has to be paid in order to secure admission to the course. Yes, the college is transparent in the fee-breakdown.

Fees and Financial Aid

No, the college didn't offer any scholarship opportunity. Actually, one of my friends had to convince teachers to write a LOR.

Campus Life

1.5

Daulat Ram is an all girl's college. Sexual orientation isn't discussed as the principal is against it. There was a huge social diversity and that was the best part of the college. There was zero tolerance against race, economic standards or religion.

Alumni/Alumna

Yes, the alumni network is well maintained but I don't know of any alumni meets. We all are always happy to help each other.

Admission

I opted for English Honours because I love reading and writing it made me a polished writer. The college was in north campus very close to my home so I chose it. I had to submit the documents along with photocopied ones and then a teacher called me in the cabin and I got selected.

Faculty

1.5

The lectures do happen regularly the hierarchy has no big role. I was never clear of what I was being taught I lacked the background knowledge but overall some teachers were excellent and in their subjects, I scored good.

Placement Experience:

Almost 100% as our course students dont have to do much as getting to this college is enough. Our economics society and placement cell both work so hard to get the best companies here and that is why placements at St, Stephen's are amazing not just of our branch but overall as well.

Course Curriculum Overview:

According to me, bachelor of Arts is a waste program, it doesn't prepare you for anything except government exams. It doesn't prepare you for real world applications unless you have other in demand skills. I think there's a lot of need to change the syllabus of bachelor of Arts and teachers should be supportive and qualified. In every 6 months there's semester exams and mostly they're quite difficult.

Remarks:

Positive- Faculty is one of the best in among all colleges of Delhi University. It has the biggest infrastructure in Delhi university. Located in central Delhi which makes it easily accessible to reach Central park, red fort, and many more places in New Delhi. Negative- Annual fest is very poor in our college. Placements are not very good. Lack of sports facilities. Very strict rules and discipline.
