College Review -[IGDTUW], New Delhi

Positive - girls college so we get the opportunity to do everything by ourselves, good placement, societies, a place to learn and grow. Negative - Infrastructure is not good, don't have a good canteen, too many monkeys.

The course curriculum is very nice but needs to have an optional subject for students. Takes too many exams That aren't required. They don't have GPA and still give percent. It's very hectic. Plus passing marks are 50.

Yes, internship and placement are superb but still comparatively very few from other government technical institutions. The highest package this year was 42 LPA. But they don't have a hundred percent placement.

Our cultural fest taarangana is very famous, in its early editions only it made a big name of standard somewhat similar to engifest of dtu. Our fest is more famous than our college itself. It also gives girls a lot of chances to explore and try everything by themselves.

Fees are very feasible and even the lowest in Delhi for a technical college. My first installment for 1st year was 75000. I was in the 2016 batch. For the remaining 3 years, it was 70000. Similarly, for every upcoming batch, it is 5000 more than the previous.

I don't know anything about these as already its very low fees. But still if one wants to get students loan they can take it by any means available. They need basic information and documents like admission slips etc, then they can get student loans.

There are so many extracurricular activities and societies for that. Most famous are rahnuma for dramatics, hypnotics for dance. A sports fest is also organized. Every branch has its different clubs and others like ecosphere.

Seniors are very helpful and motivating. They are always ready to help. Aluminum connection is also great, they often come as speakers to address students about various fields, how to go for it. Regular sessions are held.

Interest in computer science. It is the first girl's college in north India. Also a government technical college. Being a girls college makes one self-sufficient. Placements, overall reputation all are great.

Some faculty are good, some are not so good. They don't know how to teach. They made two batches of cse so because of teachers shortage Ph.D. students taught us many subjects, and they didn't have deep knowledge about that subject.
