Remarks
College was fun and it collaborated and had lot of clubs and activities, fest but on a negative side there was discrimination towards foreigners and northeast Indians. And some professors judged them as notorious or someone to cause trouble and so on.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course was over loaded and hectic most of the days with no break and continuous classes one after another. And then practical classes. Professors taking extra classes on weekends instead of making arrangements on weekdays during free periods. Since weekend was occupied we got little time to relax.
Placement Experience
There was no extra activities as such or internship options. But there were ads on notice board for seminar / training etc. I did take part in some where we had to pay to get involved but no stipend in any.
College Events
Orientation day, fresher's day, farewell, mental health day (department), College fest, club activities. Fresher's day and farewells were held separately for each department and also for a general mass. College fest gets crowded since outsiders are invited.
Fee Structure And Facilities
It was affordable compared to other Colleges. We paid fees for exam and then for admission. The fees rounded up to 7-8k based on semester (extra for practical) and separate for exam fee. And other curriculum.
Fees and Financial Aid
There was no scholarship provided from the College but there was scholarship from the state funded for merit students or economically lower background. And also scholarships funded by central government.
Campus Life
There were many clubs that were active but not much members since they don't have much activity or time to involve others. Neither did the club members give opportunity for others to participate since they were focussed on receiving all the credits alone. The College was only for girls but there was classes for people with special needs for both genders.
Alumni/Alumna
College seniors were quite friendly and helpful. Most of them were nice and wanted to help and get along with the Juniors. We got along well but there were one two batch that didn't mingle much with the seniors.
Admission
I intended to study the subject based on my interest. The admission process was lengthy and had to follow up for three days. The College had limited seats so selection was based on merit list and luckily I was selected for the course in the College I opted for.
Faculty
The faculty members were highly qualified and educated, friendly atmosphere. But also there were one -two professors that were racist and discriminated, polluting the environment. Some students even bunked their classes noticing such behaviours of the professors and their ill treatment.
