Remarks

Nothing negative there is a very positive atmosphere in the college and the students studying also are very helpful and kind and very good to talk. Students come from all over India and also abroad. Secularism prevails in our college.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

Course curriculum is good. Developed for the upbringing and nourishment of the student. As a postgraduate student we have four semesters. And the course duration is of 2 years. So during the semesters there are CIAs and after semester written exams are there.

Placement Experience

4.5

Yes placements are the best in our college because NAAC gave a credit of 4.75 to our college. And internship also is provided by our college and i don't have any idea lf Stipend but yes placements are in good companies

College Events

5

Events are celebrated every week in our college. There is pratibha college fest in our college then there is visages which is also a cultural event. Then are other departmental activities which are held by other departments.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees structure is feasible like 40 or 50K for other courses but for the course in which i am enrolled it is a bit expensive because of social work. There is rural camp and etc things that is why the fees is 90k of social work.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions

Yes scholarships are available in the college and the college even encourages the students to fill the scholarships. Because these scholarships are provided by the government and they should be availed otherwise they would be put to the bad use by the government

Campus Life

4.5

Yes extracurricular activities are too much. Lab is also there for the science students and every once in 3 weeks they are interclass tournaments for the class those who want to participate can participate. There is college fest also.

Alumni/Alumna

Yes alumni students are there in our college and alumni day is celebrated every year in our college for the X students. Seniors are a great asset to us as they are experienced more than us and provide the solutions to every problems.

Admission

First name was selected. Then went for the interview. Then documents were verified after that was interviewed by the teachers then interviewed by the principal then selected after that you have to deposit the fees and you are enrolled in the college.

Faculty

5

Faculty of our college and specifically the social work department faculty is too good. So helpful and kind there are to every student. Whatever the problem or the doubt is they clear it and help and work for the success of the students.

University of Mysore - [UOM], Master of Arts [MA] (Ancient Indian History and Archaeology)

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well, I always wanted to study history and archaeology. They fascinate me. I was preparing for the CUET PG 2023 when I went through the University of Mysore website. Since I was unable to crack the examination, I applied here as a student. We went through an entrance exam and I was able to join here. The subject is interconnected to all other fields from science to social studies. To ace this field, one has to pass with NET exam. On the other hand also to complete a PhD. There is an institution under ASI that trains students in field work. Back to the department, though teachers and staff are helpful, communication is a problem. It is hard to follow up as they will be speaking in state language. I think if they are accepting students from other states, they should also come to a point of common language for communication. The semester exams are not so difficult. Students must study well and understand the concepts. Previous year question papers also help a lot.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My subject is MA. English. The curriculum comprises of complete history of English Literature along with great poets and their writings. The plus point is that it will help the students to learn about the different writing style along with knowledge of how to interpret the subject matter. The exams are conducted 4 Times for 2 years ie. 4 semesters. Along with these they give assignments to write to test your writing and comprehension skill.

Placement Experience:

The companies visit the office in the final year. For Media and Communication Studies program, the companies come mostly for the students of Advertising and Corporate Communication (Specialization 2) rather than Multimedia Journalism (Specialization 1). However, all the students are free to sit for all the companies. Some good brands come up for placements and take students every year. However, the good part is that even if you don't get an opportunity from the campus placement, you will always get an edge because of the university name when you apply to any of the companies. That's especially when you're applying in Karnataka or the Southern region.
