College In Hills

Only the main issue here is that here the college is in outskirts of the city and its very hectic to reach Dehradun city which is some what around 16 kms one side. So it is very hectic but all necessary things are available near to campus on walking distance from hostel.

Course curriculum gives me a mix feelings.course of some subjects is too good and same lack industrial knowledge in many courses. Courses are not length but are of moderate size (you can easy complete whole syllabus in a day easily.)

Average package is around 5 lac per annum. Companies like LTI and byjus are mass recruiter and many more campnies comes to campus for average of 5-10 students each company. Mass recruiters take around 100+ students and package range from 4 lac to 6.5 lac According to your knowledge.

There are two major events. 1) urja this is the cultural fest for 2 days in October.one day a band or dj arrives and second day a singer from Bollywood or punjabi singers and at day time there are different events such as footloose. different games and much more. 2) ignite is the technical fest of UPES

Fee is highly expensive and its a pain for a middle class student. Fess per sem starts from 1.6 lac and goes in your final year too 2.10 lacs per sem and hostel fees is 1.5 lac year and 4k-5k your monthly expense.

No such scholarship but if you are getting more than 85% in 12 then you can get of 1 lac scholarship on total academic fees. Otherwise no such other ways in upes using that you can grab an scholarship from college.

There are grounds specially for different sports.there is a large field where cricket and football takes place. there is a volleyball court and two badminton courts and a volleyball courts , TT table also.

I live in a hostel affiliated by oxford caps a mnc. Facilities are good and better then other hostel in same price point. Facilities like washing machine and food 4 times and laundry wifi are provided by hostel where in a room there is table, chair ,bed ,mattress, study lamp.

Alumni is not very old since college has been operated from 2001. But Alumni helps too bring good companies in campus for placement and internship purposes. And seminars are conducted frequently by alumnis regarding industry experience.

I applied using my jee mains marks. After my jee mains marks I applied then I got a call leter from UPES after 2 weeks. But for jee mains admission you have to fill a form online on website of upes and then select jee mains option as mode of admission.

there is too many faculties of 1 subject only like for Design analysis and algorithms subject we have almost 10 faculties do You can easily understand a topic from many faculties if you are unable to understand from one of the faculty.
