Everything can't be positive and everything can't be negative either, all I can say is it's a mixture of both fun and frustrations. Some times mess food doesn't feel good, it's far from city so even swiggy, zomato not available.

Our curriculum is a bit old, and exams are many, almost 30% of days we spend in one or other exam. It's difficult to attend many exams, sometimes even preparation time lacks and we may not perform well but still curriculum is such.

Placements opportunities are good, a good number of companies do visit and almost 80% of students who wish to get a job have chances to secure in our campus. Coming to internships, they are also good, around 50% people secure it.

Here in National Institute of Technology, Calicut, we have to major fests one technical and one cultural namely Tathva and Ragam which are celebrated in October and January /March every year in grand way. They are our pride and we work hard to make them grand success.

Fee for Open category students of income above 5lakhs is 70 thousand where as it is free for reserved students and meagre amount for Backward caste students which sounds pretty unfair but that's how it is here.

I have no idea regarding scholarships as I'm an Open category, income above 5 lakhs male student in India, I neither know nor expect any such facilities.I've heard about few but have no idea whether college is providing or not

There is no compromise in extra curricular activities in campus. Labs are good and well equipped with requirements. Computer labs are well maintained and kept available for around 18hrs a day which is really helpful.

Yes, seniors are very helpful. In the beginning they were a little scary, they maintained that attitude but as time passed, they become very close, now they feel and guide in a almost all aspects. Alumni also play their role in further studies guidelines, job references etc.

JEE MAINS 2017, I was one among top 1% students in that exam which made me achieve this seat.It's an all India entrance exam for all who pursued 12th grade and willing to enter top institutes in India.

They are good, well educated from various top universities all over India. They have immense knowledge and most of them succeed in imparting their knowledge to us. Few fail in it, then we adopt for some online resources for our preparations.
