Remarks

It is one of best University all over the India. So if you can prepare well examination for WBJEE you can admission here. And also the students who are good in Board exams can take their admission. So University is ok.

Course Curriculum Overview

I am a civil engineer. The project management and other things are very beautiful here. One of the best facility of jadavpur University is Civil Engineering depertment. Students can built their future.

Placement Experience

Yes, the placement is very good here. For computer science dept the average job LPA is very high nearly 20 Lpa. But other departments also ok like 6-9 lpa. And internship is also good. The average stipend is 40-50k.

College Events

There are many types of events calibrated in our University. 1) Fetsu Sanskrit 2) Afsu fest. 3) Fresher's welcome celebration 4) Farewell party 5) U Tran ( sport event between intra college dept) . These are the main events.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees is very low for the students. So that poor meritorious students can study here easily. For engineering course it is only 10k in 4 year of course. And for science and arts it is also very low. So fees is ok. No issue with it.

Fees and Financial Aid

There are several scholarship. But Alumni association is present here which donate the students schlorship. So that the poor students can study here without taking money from home. But with the University reference student can apply other scholarship.

Campus Life

Labs are very good here. The infrastructure of labs in jadavpur University is one of the best facility all over the India. Laboratory experiments are done with very care and students are also very serious.

Alumni/Alumna

The biggest success of jadavpur University is due to the depertment seniors. Seniors guides the students very carefully. For that reason they can prepare well for semester examination and other competitive exams.

Admission

Cracking west Bengal joint entrance examiation. But students can enter by other ways from merit list for science and arts facility.So academic procedure is fine here. For common boys like SC,ST reservation is present.

I am civil engineering student at jadavpur University. When final year is going we can sit for placement or we are preparing for GATE,CAT and other exams. So building a career is good option here. So there are many ways for future career.

Should I Choose IEM.

Placement Experience:

Eligibility for placement is from 3rd year,with tier 1 companies visiting like Google, Amazon along with mass requiters like TCS, Capgemini, Wipro etc.Last year heights placement package was 72LPA offered to 15 students and average was 2-3 LPA.

Okay college and decent placement

Placement Experience:

The campus placement is same as all low 3 tier colleges which is nearly 4-5 lpa average salary given by mass recuitor companies .The companies are infosys , ltimindtree , accenture , ibm , capgemini , cognigent , etc .The placement rate is nearly 60 to 70 percent.

Heritage Institute of Technology: A Detailed Observation

Placement Experience:

The students become eligible for campus placements from third year that is after 5th semester. Companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Cognizant and IBM are amongst the mass hirers. Almosy 80 percent of the students get placed every year and the top 10 percent of the students receive high paying job offers. The average package is around 4.86 LPA and in 2023, the highest package was 16 LPA and in 2022, the highest package was 44 LPA. Talking about my future plans, I wish to pursue my masters abroad after completing my undergraduate course here.

Placement Experience:

Despite the low fee structure, my college provides a good placements. Almost every student of CSE Dept who sit for placement, gets the placement between 4lpa - 6lpa. Last year the highest package was ?12 lpa. ECE department has the lowest percentage of placements. And other engineering departments have between 60-70% placement. All the mentioned above is the description of in campus placement. Not many students of my college opt for out campus. But if they do, they get good placements as per the reports. In 2021 a student secured the job in Microsoft, with the placement of ?45 lpa (out campus).

Like my main was getting to IIT which I couldn't as U couldn't clear JEE advanced.So my next option was to choose between NITS and JU.So clearly choose JU because it completes our BE in 10k whereas the fees of NITs are really high.So as I gave JEE in 2024 my jee main rank was something around 64K (95.5 percentile) and my wbjee rank was 2341 and got alloted food Technology and biochemical engineering in jadavpur university.The process to get into our college is to give wbjee and if u are a general your rank should be within 2500 to get into this premium college....Read More

Homebound Forward with Jadavpur University

I have always wanted to study in Jadavpur University in one of their literature departments since I was a kid. This was a way of achieving a tiny dream of mine. Moreover, the Comparative Literature Department is the best in all entire Asia and the first one in the country. I wanted to experience the greatness of this course and how the canons of this literature were formed here. It is also the topmost State Public University and 9th in NIRF I wanted to be a part of an institution that could be great to this extent. The admission took place on the basis of a merit-based entrance examination. The seats are limited; therefore, only the top 15 students out of almost 800-1000 who appeared for the exam were selected. The Pros and Cons of Joining Jadavpur University Masters of Arts in Economics

1) I applied for Delhi School of Economics, however couldn't manage an admission due to the extreme cutoff on CUET exam for the same. I had confirmed admission from North Bengal University, however it was not feasible since I had a choice in Jadavpur University. Jadavpur University has the best rank among all other colleges I had a confirmed admission to, so I chose this University. 2) I wanted to study in Delhi School of Economics, but couldn't make it there due to the extensive cutoff in CUET which I unfortunately couldn't clear. 3) Jadavpur University conducts its own internal exam for admission into its esteemed Masters of Arts [M.A.] programme. However one can get through by CUET exams as well, however that needs a decent score.
