Suraj's College Review

I only have very much amount of positive remarks about my college jis University, the college was established just five or six years ago but in this short duration they done pretty well for developing their infrastructure to there extra curriculum activities. so I am very happy with my University.

The course curriculum of B.pharm is of 4 years , 8 semesters, 42 subjects has to be completed in 4 years. There are 3 slot examinations and a semester examination has taken, beside this they take a seminar and also show a skill x program which is is mandatory for every student.

Though JIS University has aged just 4 years so in b pharm department there is no placements happen till now but with think they would give us the best placements they can. In terms of internships we have a very big opportunity for internships and our university collaborates with the internshala app for giving internships for their students.

A pretty much amount of functions cultural programs group discussions and another activities also happened in our college campus and auditorium. all the the students from different departments of the college participates in the programs and in the cultural activities.

I did not think that the fee structure feasible for everyone, because JIS University takes 4.5 lacs for the whole 4 years, and also take some amount as a donation from some students, but overall the fee structure is good as compare to another universities.

There's basically no scholarships given for technical educations Bai central government or State Government, but I availed a 6750 rupees of scholarship from the state government for OBC caste scholarships.

There are also some extra curricular activities like laboratory work sports cultural festivals participation group discussion computer lessons communication skill development classes gyms etc. and in terms of all the extra curricular activities at the University done pretty good work.

No I haven't opted for hostel. because my house is pretty much near from the university so I do daily passengery by train from my house to my University everyday. and in terms of hostel infrastructure it's also pretty much good in comparison of other University hostels.

The senior students are very much helpful in terms of helping us for our studies extra curricular activities improving our communication skills giving seminar, and also helps us for attitude development.

After passing Higher secondary Examination, I gave the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination, And during the councelling for admission I choose the Jis University as it has great infurstucture for B.pharm department.

In Jis University the faculty system is very good and well balanced because we have two or three faculties for every single subjects. Beside giving lectures they also helped us in our laboratory work, assignments and extra curriculum.
