Negative - non teaching faculties are too much lazy and corrupted person they can play a chess game with make a group of employees but can't finish the file in same day even you have only to sign or seal of authority. Thats the reason of BIT Mesra goes rank down.

Placement and job opportunities in BIT MESRA is excellent. Over the years total 400 companies are visited in our campus and hire some talented minds. The centralized placement system gives a lot of benifits to students. Some companies are - IBM, MICROSOFT, INFOSYS, COGNIZANT, AMAZON, AMDOCS, ACCENTURE, WHITE PANDA, Nomura RI, etc. But the major drawback of BIT Mesra systems is that they are not inform/aware the candidates/students during the admissions about the 60% throughout aggregate criteria for the placement. Tje conditions for placement in BIT mesra is that if you want to apply in type 2 or greater or MNCs than you must have to fulfill the 60 % throughout aggregate criteria. The students having lesa than 60 % throughout they face very stressed situations and fee(630000) of course is totally wasted of money.

hackathon and different types of competition, seminars, workshops, cleanliness drive, blood donation camp, education camp, career counseling, clothing drive, sport are organized by societies like RAD, dwbsoc, IET, EEE, ITsoc, NSS, NCC, Dance club, sport club, etc.

Not Feasible for all but when any bank sanctions the loan then it is feasible. The fee structure is too much expensive for the students of middle class family. There are some scheme in bihar student credit card it helps a lot to the students but the students those who belongs otherthan bihar. They may pay 10.63 % PA intrest Of loan. And it is too much hard to pay when they not got placed in any companies.

Scholarship are only for Merit students those who scored in top 10 in there class. And no loan facilities offered by college. You may got category scholarships from your home state. And you got only one scholarship at a time.

In campus there are 10000 students admitted. There are many societies created and handled by DSW(dean students and welfare). Labs are with extra featured. And separate for each programme like Computer lab, semiconductor lab CAD lab, mechanical lab electrical lab, IoT lab, language lab etc. For sports, the sportsoc is organized different tyles of activities like volleyball, football, cricket etc. Dance club, research and development society, EEE soc. Etc organized events with the collaboration of other colleges, companies and experts of specialized fields.

The food in hostel mess is very good & hygienic and the hospitality is good. The rooms are comfortable. In the room one bed, one table, one fan and inbuilt rack(almira) facilitate. The bathrooms and toilets are neet and cleaned. There are no disturbance.

Birla Institute of Technology, a 60 year old institute is one of the leading educational institute in India. BITOSA Global (Birla Institute of Technology Old Students Association) is Official BIT Mesra Alumni body and an umbrella organization that has formed to co-ordinate the activities of the various alumni chapters.

In Birla Institute of Technology Mesra Ranchi, an entrance exam is organized for the admission in MCA, where 50% seats are reserved for home state, girls, management quota. Rest 50% seats for all India general candidates. Some points are notable : 1. mathematics background is necessary in 10+2. 2. Entrance marks should be non negative.

The some professors are having with experienced and knowledge of advanced technology and languages. And with too much motivation and teaching skills. But the other hand some professors are too much arrogant and negative attitude. Sometime they are said i cut off your mark and you will appear exam in next time. And they finally gave 4 to 10 marks out of 40.
