WBJEE-( rank 2286), Yes i was with all the options open to me. But my papa's dream of myself as a mechanical engineer made me to opt for this branch.

Being in third yr i dont really yet have seen any gossip about internship but what i have done is training from NTPC kahalgaon. It was a nice experience of my life that was my first mega plant from my physical eyes. Basically the companies are coming for cse,it and ece students. The companies like TCS, CTS, Infosys, Wipro, sankalp etc.

Placement is really good appreciable but actually for cse ,ece, and it students. Even this year total candidates were approx 450 and tcs placed aporox 350 students. Those who all were in technical (3.56 lakh) and non technical( 3.36 lakh) sankalp is good. It placed approx 40 students of ece and package was 4.5 lakh, 7 in IBM with a package of 6 lakh. etc.

Every year college is celebrating one tech fect and a cultural fest in which students from different colleges of kolkata. And out side kolkata are taking part in it with a great enthusiasm though our my college campus is not so big so it has to celebrate its cultral fest elsewhere.

Being a general category guy. I should not know or say about any scholarship or loans. Firstly the college fee is merely less enough to be manage in four years and as i m in bengal. There a lot of reservation system. Few of my colleges will complete their engineering in just 20 thousand approx. Those who all are under TFW quota and except generals bengal and bihar govt providing scholar ship for engg students but except generals.

Hostel is amazing and mess food is also good.

Exam scheme is as usual semester wise sessions or year starts from august and semester exam is there in december. Then next semester starts in january last and ends in june. There is more than one and half month gap during semester vaccation, during whic
