Remarks

Nothing as such, just a lack of placement services. The placement services are the major drawback of the university. Student learn so much and if they are left only with a degree thats the major disappointment.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course curriculum is well defined, similar to that of many IIT'S and NIT's. Regular exams are held to test the students learning. There are 4 exams in one semester, one UT, mid term, second UT and sessional finals

Placement Experience

3

No the college didn't provide any internship, you need to work hard by yourself to get into any. Same goes for placements. There are placement offers but very few, but surely is rising in the coming years.

College Events

4

Very few. Techxetra is one cultural college event which is celebrated every year. Although many events such as parade day , sports week, cultural week. Because of being a central college all central activities are celebrated here.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is quite feasible, not that expensive and one can easily get scholarships as well. The university also provide various loans from banks with ease. And thus the student will never have any financial issues.

Fees and Financial Aid

There are many scholarship available from the admission itself. I did not opt for any. There are various banks within the university premises which offers easy student loans and are flexible as well. They are quite helpful

Campus Life

4.5

There are many extracurricular activities as well. We have a basketball court, football and cricket ground, lawn tennis court, badminton court, shooting range and swimming arena as well. Labs are quite well maintained and are easy to use with all facilities available.

Hostel Facilities

2.5

Yes i was having hostel facilities. But frankly speaking college hostel is the same of what you expect them to be. Small rooms with no attached washrooms. For 20 rooms there are 4 washroom. Hygiene is less bothered.

Alumni/Alumna

Seniors are the ones which are the best part of the university. They might look harsh in the beginning month but serves you the most althroughout the university life. They will teach ypu everything required to live the bachelor life and are helpful in all cases.

Admission

I got admission through JEE MAINs exam back in 2015. There is a huge procedure of selection. After you are in the merit list you'll be called for interview and selection of seat. If you're eligible and seats are available then you'll get the desired seat.

Faculty

4

The faculties are quite friendly and once you're with them you will definitely feel like home. Most of them are under 35 so can easily read your mind as well. They are supportive and helpful as well. They will definitely build your career.

Placement Experience:

The placements here are actually decent. The average package for my branch was around 13.5 LPA last year and branches like CSE, EC and EI have a higher average package generally. The campus is visited by almost all of the top companies including Google, Adobe, Facebook, etc. The detailed placement records are available on the website of the institute. The percentage of students getting placed ranges anywhere between 70 percent to 92 percent. I plan to get an M.Tech degree after completing my B.Tech course from an IIT if possible.
