Course Curriculum Overview
B.E course is of 4 years course which consists of 8 semesters, within each semester 8-9 numbers of subject exams (including practicals) are held, each subject carries different credit point and based on the number obtained in each paper total semester grade point is calculated
Placement Experience
Job opportunities are very high as compared to any state aided university, some of them grab package like 40 Lpa, and in 3-4 depts students get placed almost 80-90%. But still average placement scenario remains good.Our dept provides non paid internship, I got non-paid internship in Britannia and Varun Beverages (pepsico)
College Events
Sanskriti (cultural fest) is being held every year, it lasts for 9 long days, besides mixed-gender sports, annual sports, tech-fest, international seminars, conference etc different events are also organised
Fee Structure And Facilities
Annual fee structure is 40,000 (including hostel charge), it is very less as compared to any other tech college. Semester fess is very less 2500 per semester and facilities are provided in very low cost
Fees and Financial Aid
Scholarships are provided based on students need and financial condition, some students get 100% free scholarships, there is scholarship section where students get to know different forms of scholarships available for them
Campus Life
There are drama club, science club, music club, debate club, photography club, sports club where students can get involved themselves in extracurricular activities. Labs are very good except few ones. Our dept has highest number (16) of labs.
Hostel Facilities
No, I did not opt hostel, but I heard from friends it is very less as compared to other college and it is very less than mess/pg rent, hostel is very near to university, saves transportation cost as well
Alumni/Alumna
Seniors are helpful sometime, try to communicate with our professors regarding campus recruitment. Some of them remain busy, hesitate to take extra load. Some seniors forward our CVs to Hr of different companies
Admission
Through WBJEE entrance exam, complete procedure is online, based on merit rank preferable dept can be obtained, after 3 rounds of counselling once allocated dept is obtained need to pay admission fees in form of demand draft
Faculty
Faculties are well qualified in terms of knowledge and practical experiences, some of them have degrees from IIT as well. They try to gear up the technical knowledge of students which is essential in any field
