Remarks

Ya there are many positives that our college has like great infrastructure, nice and well maintained class rooms and labs and the negatives are college fees is expensive. and we have many opportunities so that we can get placed in any company we want.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum is good according to me but there is an improvement in the latest subjects and more practicals. Exam Structure is also good enough. but there are more assignments and tests which should not be there and all the subjects should be evaluated based on practical experience

Placement Experience

Placements are good and now it is season of placements and i am in final year so i know about the placements of our college we have on of the great director of placements department in entire Karnataka and many companies are coming and we are also getting internships through placements and stipend is around 25k to 75k

College Events

There are many events and we have many clubs in our college that will conduct various events from hackathon to workshops and blood donation camps and all among that we have one of the best cultural festival that is conducted in the month of September that is SARGAM

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure will be various from student to student like for management quota there will be more fees compared to the people who joined through entrance exams and i thing it is a bit expensive according to me and college has to make is more feasible

Fees and Financial Aid

I don't know about any good scholarship that college has provided me and there is no loan facility as well as scholarship facility.

Campus Life

We have all the extracurricular activities like dance singing sports events and much more and we have trails for the college sports team and based on that team is chosen and we have great labs and industry Sponsored labs as well.

Admission

Firstly, wrote my DCET Exam then the results were announced and after that document verification happened and later on i applied for the colleges through DCET and later on final college announcement results were happened and in that i got New horizon college of engineering as my college based on the merit.

They are best teachers i have ever got they clear all the doubts they are very good they explain each and every topic until we are thorough about that topic. What to say about them i am the lucky enough that i got these kind of faculty.

Academic Curriculum- they constantly upgrade the subjects which needs to be taught
Labs - very well equipped labs for all branches.
You can choose to drop a lab and do it in winter break or summer break

Dislikes

very less holidays only 3rd saturday is holiday and they dont give holidays for jayantis and all
Auto drivers near the college. this is pure daylight robbery

Placement Experience:

From your 7th semester you become eligible to get placed and it is mandatory to get internship before you get placed which the college helps you to get and around 400-500 companies visit, and a good amount of offers are made by them. The average package stands somewhere around 11LPA -12LPA and the highest goes to 50LPA-60LPA and the median stands around 9-10LPA.

I have been from diploma background, after diploma I joined this course as later entry (direct admission to 2nd year). In diploma also, I have studied the Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) course. As I know the basic concepts about this course, it is easy for me now to understand the concepts.

Faculties are highly experienced and ready to help all the time

Washrooms need to be clean and good to use especially for girls hygiene it has to be good

Only one playground for cricket and also remaining
security are very rude but some are bit friendly

Yes our college provide placements, from final year that is 7th semester they will allow for placements, Many companies visited our college like tcs, Cognizant, indegene, microland etc and average package is 400000 and highest is 1500000 it given by oracle, Nearly 60 percent students got that is either in both technical and non technical jobs, my plans to join a IT company

Likes

Faculties are really well experienced by character all the faculties are humble and polite.
The college has good Infrastructure and the campus is surrounded with Trees it is very peaceful campus.
Placement support are really good with lab facilities where skill rack, NPTEL, Infosys springboard, MongoDB, IBM platform is provided for level up our skills.

Placement Experience:

Placements in our college are fairly good and students become eligible for campus placements from the final year, usually from the 6th or 7th semester. Many companies visit the campus every year and offewre opportunuties in different roles such as software developer,analyst, technical support, and other entry-level positions.

Faculty Experience and Mentorship : Experienced faculty : The faculty at SVIT is often described as appreciable , knowledge, and supportive . professors are well - versed in there respective fields ,and many have industrial experience .
Placement support : Strong placement record: SVIT hasa good placement record ,with many students securing in top - tier companies like TCS , Wipro , Accenture, Infosys,. The college guidence through placement offers traning .

Dislikes

Collaborative Environment : Group project and assignment is core elements of curriculum with many course designed to involve group work and collaborative projects.
Cultural Activities : Are not celebrated more in semister
Collaborative learning : Communication barrier in larger teams especially working with different backgrounds or academic disciplines.

Placement Experience:

The placement at SVIT Bengaluru area quite impressive , especially in the technical field like Computer science, Civil, Electrical and Machanical Engineering.The college has a dedicated placement cell that students get the best opportunities for internship and final placement .At SVIT , Students typically become eligible for campus placement from the 7 th semester . However, the placement cell starts preparing students for interview and skill development from the 5 th semester onwards though mock interview , resume - building workshops , and personality development session.SVIT Bengaluru has strong industry connection , especially in the IT and engineering sectors .some of the companies that regularly visit the campus recruitment includes. TCS , Infosys , Wipro, Congnizant, Accenture,IBM, Capgemini ,Tech Mahendra , Amazon.High- package : The highest salary package offered in recent year was around 15 - 18 lakhs per annum for candidates . Average package: The average salary package offered is ar8 4- 5 lakhs per annum. The placement rates at SVIT is consistently high . On average , around 80-85% of eligible students get placed in good companies.

Particular teaching subject wise was not so clear.
Placement training courses coding wise was not that good.
Water facility sometimes was not good but it was ok nothing to dislike

1. From 7th semester onwards placement activities start. But from 1st semester itself they start training. 2. Windcare, Rinexx, Wipro, Infosys, A1 fence, Microdegree, Intellipath and so on. 3. Intellipath offers 10 lakh per annum and so on. 4. 85 percent students where getting placed. 5. To start my own venture.

An honest review

Course Curriculum Overview:

As I'm in 1st semester. I will update you after my exams. But one good thing is that from this year, internals and externals will hold same weightage i.e., 50/50 If you can score more than 45% in internals which wouldn't be that big of a deal because they'll ask most the questions from class notes. Most of the faculties are average I would say. But some are good professors too. I chose CSE because I find these topics interesting since junior school. And everyone is just jumping into cse is a reason too lol.
