Remarks

Positive is very less things but negatives are more because there are no one to listen about the students if any decisions are made by the MD we have to fallow wheather it is good or bad you have to fallow

I have choosed B.TECH from marine engg.and this course is of 4yr residensial course.For this i have given a CET for INDIAN MARITIME UNIVERSITY There was an online exam and i got passed in that and on the basis of the rank i got different colleges and i have taken HIMT college

Placement Experience

Placements are not good and students have to give all india exam for getting placement in that also only 1 or 2 students are getting seleted and there is no tie up with the companies also they are not ready to tie up

College Events

No events are celebrated in this college only when any guest is coming to college you have to do pared and nothing else and also you are not allowed to go out more then 4 college for any competitions

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fees is expensive 3 lakhs per year and also your have to give 25000 rupees To INDIAN MARITIME UNIVERSITY for course regiatration every year and in college you also charged for electricity if the unit exceeds 60

Fees and Financial Aid

No loan facility you have to take loan by yourself and scholarship conditions are only for first and second rank holders of the class and for normal student it is impposible to get it so no scholarship for normal guys

Campus Life

Very bad for ectracurricular activities for that you have to give the inventory list and only 25000 ruppee will be given to your comm. And also not having proper gym equipments workshops are there but still they are making more workshops

Hostel Facilities

In one room there will be four studends are statying but hostels are good relevent to othere colleges. And if you break any thingh you will be charged twice of. the cost the things no Ac in room

External Expense: Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna

No they are not helful for seniors and they will never come to you to know what is happening.and senior student if want to come their colege they have to shave themselves and afterthat you can get in the college

Admission

Faculty

Some faculties are good some are not up to the mark all the chief engineers which are teaching have good knowledge about the subjects and also they are redy to help you if you are getting any dout in any subject

Life and Difficulties at SRM University from honest POV

Placement Experience:

the placements start from third year. there are multiple oncampus companies that visited like juspay,zs associates, cognizant,accenture,capegemini and etc. the average package is aroung 5,00,000 the percentage of student is around 60-70 around this year but its still going on by this march.
