I would definitely give a thumbs up for LPU! Trust me, I faced the same dilemma when I had to make my decision. I did a lot of research before choosing LPU for my B.Tech, and I couldn't be happier with my choice. The curriculum here is fantastic! The placements are quite decent too. Top recruiters include:

  • United Health Group
  • Verizon
  • Amazon
  • Hewlett Packard
  • IBM
  • Xerox
  • Colgate Palmolive
  • Cognizant Technology Solutions
  • Google (Alphabet)
  • Microsoft
  • Oracle
  • Apple

By the way, what course are you planning to apply for? I can help you further with that!

Alright, here’s my honest take on this question. I’m not biased because I graduated from Amity University (B.Com Hons.) and am currently pursuing my MBA at LPU. It’s been just 4 months at LPU, and I can confidently say it’s better than Amity. And I’m not just talking about the 600-acre campus or parking space.

Here are the reasons why I prefer LPU over Amity:

  • From day one at LPU, the focus isn’t just on getting high grades but on preparing you for placements. They provide real-time interview experiences (which never happened even once during my 3 years at Amity).
  • Each semester includes classes on Soft Skills and Quantitative Aptitude in the curriculum. This is to enhance your personality, not just for placements but also for competitive exams (never offered at Amity).
  • To improve your English, optional classes are organized every Saturday at LPU. (At Amity, this was never done.)
  • LPU offers numerous live projects, field studies, internships, and part-time job opportunities. For instance, a group of students in the 2nd year of MBA made Rs.8 lakhs in profits from the stock market while learning to trade.

LPU and Amity University Noida both offer solid B.Com programs, but when it comes to fees and ROI, Amity University Noida often edges ahead. While LPU has a vibrant campus life and offers various scholarships, Amity's reputation for better industry connections can lead to more lucrative placements post-graduation. In terms of value for money, Amity might be the smarter financial choice due to its stronger alumni network and placement opportunities. If you’re focused on a well-rounded education with potential for higher returns, Amity University Noida is likely the better pick; however, if you prefer a lively campus atmosphere, LPU could suit you well.

LPU has a strong reputation for placements and a solid network of companies that recruit from its campus, often showcasing impressive job packages. In contrast, Amity University Noida also offers good internship opportunities and has a robust placement cell, but it might not match LPU's overall package offerings. Both universities provide valuable exposure and industry connections, but LPU edges ahead in securing higher salary packages and diverse job opportunities. If you're focused on landing a lucrative job post-B.Com, LPU might be the better choice, while Amity is great for those who prioritize a balanced campus experience with decent placements.

Hello, Comparing two prestigious private universities that excel in their own unique ways is certainly possible, but the choice ultimately depends on individual needs and preferences. Studying at Lovely Professional University, I can provide more insights about it, but I’ll do my best to give a balanced opinion. In terms of quality education, both universities are performing excellently. Placements are quite comparable: Amity’s highest placement was INR 61.75 lakh, while LPU's was INR 62.72 lakh. If you are particularly interested in B.Tech courses, CSE, or MBA, Lovely Professional University may offer a slight advantage. However, Amity can also be a good option for certain courses, so a bit of research on your part is advisable.

Campus life? Undoubtedly, LPU provides an exceptional experience with its expansive 600-acre campus, impressive infrastructure featuring over 60 blocks, dedicated hubs for gaming and food, secure hostels, and regular events including concerts with celebrities, motivational speakers, influencers, and entrepreneurs. I hope this helps you make the right choice for yourself. All the Best!
