I can definitely help with this question! The Amity Institute of Aerospace Engineering at Amity University, Noida boasts a team of highly qualified, dedicated, and experienced faculty members, all from IITs and research organizations. The institute offers modern facilities, including well-equipped laboratories, a comprehensive library, and a supportive environment for pursuing B.Tech/B.Tech+M.Tech in Aerospace Engineering.

Aerospace Engineering at Amity University, Noida is superior to many other private universities. There are excellent job opportunities in research organizations like DRDO, NAL, ADA, and the defense forces (IAF, NAVY, Army), as well as in private airlines, the IT sector, and multinational companies like Airbus, Honeywell, and GE after completing a B.Tech in Aerospace Engineering. Graduates are thriving in various engineering fields and are successfully working in these organizations or pursuing MS/M.Tech/PhD from IITs and foreign universities.

Amity also encourages students to participate in various competitions, including cultural, technical, and sports events, both within and outside the university. I hope this information helps you make your decision!

Students who do not perform well, third-rated students, enjoy 4 years at university.

I have studied AEROSPACE ENGINEERING from Amity University, so I can provide some insights. Here are my thoughts:

  • Amity offers two courses in Aerospace: B.Tech in Aerospace and a Dual Degree (M.Tech integrated 5 years) program.
  • There are only 2-3 experienced faculty members combining the two departments.
  • The faculty seems more focused on their own work and often neglect student needs and demands.
  • The course design is decent, but the teaching quality, especially in the Aerospace department, is lacking.
  • There's a mandatory 75% attendance requirement. If you're short by even one attendance, the faculty will ensure you don't get it, leading to debarment in that subject.
  • Students are separated from ASET (Amity School of Engineering and Technology), where all the fun happens.
  • You won't find many attractive students in the Aerospace Department, and if you do, you might not want to see them.
  • The only positive aspect of Amity is the crowd; you have Domino's, CCD, a mini market, and even a SALOON!
  • There are no placements in Aerospace. After four years, the only options are if you get selected in DEFENCE or elsewhere.

Both LPU for B.Tech Aerospace Engineering and Amity University Noida for B.Tech Computer Science Engineering offer unique opportunities, but Amity seems to have a slight edge in terms of placements and internships. Amity's computer science program has many companies visiting for placements starting from the third year, which is crucial for landing good job offers post-graduation. LPU's aerospace program, while promising, might not have the same level of corporate engagement as Amity's tech-centric focus.

If you're inclined towards a career in technology and want better job/package prospects, Amity University Noida would be the better choice. However, if you're passionate about aerospace engineering and willing to navigate through a more niche field, LPU can still be a good option.

NO................. Amity is not a good choice for aerospace engineering. Don't waste your 4 years and money. You won't learn anything valuable here. The aerospace department lacks labs and qualified faculty. Expect to be taught irrelevant "ALL BABA AJAM K JAMANE KI THEORY" throughout the 4 years.

  • ZERO % PLACEMENT
  • Don't expect placement in this course. Amity's aerospace department has very poor placement records. They don't even reach out to companies for students.

Good Luck !!

LPU B.Tech Aerospace Engineering is a more financially savvy choice when compared to Amity University Noida's B.Tech Computer Science Engineering. LPU offers lower fees and a variety of scholarships, making it easier to manage expenses, especially for students from different backgrounds. While both universities have qualified faculty, LPU seems to provide a more supportive environment with multiple scholarship options, including those for sports and extracurricular activities.

In terms of return on investment, students in computer science may have better placement opportunities, but the overall value for money at LPU is compelling due to its affordable fees and diverse scholarship programs. If you’re looking for an affordable option with solid support, go for LPU; if you’re set on computer science and willing to invest more, Amity is a great choice.
