That's a big question. I would suggest you consider the B.Tech Electronics & Communication Engineering in MNIT Jaipur over B.Tech Biotechnology in DTU. Students in lower branches like biotechnology often face challenges with placements, regardless of the college. The industry is increasingly focused on technology and communication, making ECE a more promising option.

Definitely DTU, even if you are considering streams like Biotechnology. The following are the possible reasons to motivate you to join DTU: 1.) DTU is a much stronger brand. It is one of the oldest engineering colleges in the country and consistently ranks in the top 10 engineering colleges every year. 2.) DTU provides flexible selection schemes that allow you to opt for CSE subjects even if you are pursuing other core streams such as electronics, electrical, mechanical, or civil. This means you can pursue CSE subjects with the latest curriculum and industry standards. 3.) The labs, library, resources, and faculty are significantly better at DTU. 4.) Funding at DTU, being a government institute of NCT of Delhi, is extremely high. 5.) The quality of the student crowd is much better at DTU. Most students who do not perform well in JEE Mains or JEE Advanced tend to opt for lower-ranked colleges, while those with excellent ranks in these exams choose to take admission in DTU. You will be spending 4 years pursuing your undergraduate degree here.

DTU offers strong prospects in terms of placements and internships, especially in fields like software engineering and data analysis, with 75% placement and packages reaching up to 1.2 crore. The vibrant campus life and supportive faculty add to the appeal. In contrast, MNIT Jaipur's Electronics & Communication Engineering program has its merits, but specific placement data and internship opportunities seem less competitive than DTU's. If you're aiming for a solid job with a good salary, DTU is the better choice, while MNIT could be suitable if you have a keen interest in electronics and prefer a different environment.

MNIT stands above DTU when comparing the two colleges. However, Biotechnology has less scope compared to Electronics & Communication Engineering. Branch sliding is not possible in MNIT, so if you are okay with Biotechnology, then choose it. Opting for MNIT will provide a city advantage for placements, leading to a larger number of companies recruiting and various activities. Regarding ECE, it is a good choice if you are interested in deep electronics, but core ECE companies are fewer, and most students get placed in software companies. Regards and.

Considering the financial aspects, DTU (Delhi Technological University) offers a more favorable ROI than MNIT Jaipur for B.Tech Biotechnology versus B.Tech Electronics & Communication Engineering. At DTU, the average package is around 10-15 LPA, with successful placements in top companies, while also providing scholarships up to 100% which can significantly reduce fees. In contrast, MNIT’s data is less robust on placement stats and scholarship offerings. Given the vibrant campus life, internship opportunities, and strong mentorship at DTU, I'd recommend DTU for those who value practical exposure and a solid financial return. However, if you have a keen interest in electronics, MNIT could still be a good choice, just be aware of the potential for lower placement figures.
