One of my friends was a student at MNIT Jaipur and shared his hostel experience of the same. As per him, the accommodation facilities were decent and his favorite hostel was the Aurobindo Hostel. This hostel was allotted to boys in the 2nd and 4th years only. I also have friends in other government colleges from which I concluded that MNIT Jaipur Aurobindo Hostel was indeed the best among them.

The hostels for 1st and 3rd-year boys are also good. Girls are allotted a private hostel named Gargi hostel and a new girls hostel is on the way.

All the hostels are surrounded by lush greenery and offer a soothing ambiance.

As a resident of Gargi at MNIT Jaipur, I will shed some light on my hostel-

Gargi Hostel does have single rooms, but you’ll get one only after your first year.
All the freshers’ are allotted either A block or B block.
A block has three/four seater rooms, and B block has two-seater rooms.
Rooms are allotted in the order of fee deposition/ college enrollment. Those who enroll early get block A, while late ones get block B.

Your rooms will change every year. The girls’ hostels are clean, but you’ll have to compromise with the poor quality mess food.

This hostel also serves the best food in comparison to other hostels offering the institute. The rooms are spacious and students have access to wifi facilities. Other hostels have poor Internet connections.

The hostel rooms of Hostel 7 are well-painted and with food flooring. It also has its own garden which is a great place to get a breath of fresh air. The best canteen of Hostel 4 is located right in front of Hostel 7 so you can get tasty food even past midnight.

MNIT Jaipur has one of the most beautiful campuses among all the NIT's in India. The campus is lush green surrounded by the mountain range of the Jhalana region. The institute has many state-of-the-art facilities that add to the quality of education

It has Asia's largest lecture theater called Vivekananda Lecture Theatre Complex(VLTC) which has lifts inside the lecture theater.
The campus has a canteen called Annapurna that serves delicacies at subsidized rates.
The lab facilities are again top-notch notch providing a decent platform for research work.
The hostel facilities are decent. The first-year students are allotted triple occupancy rooms but students get single rooms from the second year. The hostellers have access to free internet 24/7.
The mess charges high fees and the food served is just average.
Every hostel has a common room with a T.V. and T.T. boards.
The campus has decent sports facilities with one cricket and football playground, 3 volleyball courts, 2 basketball courts, and a well-maintained gym.

Comparison:

Location: This is the best thing about MNIT Jaipur as it is located in the best locale of Jaipur, Malviya Nagar. This is one of the most happening places in the city and you would enjoy proper city life. In comparison Allahabad is a smaller and more old school town, so you may not enjoy proper city life. But then, this is subjective of course.
Campus: You will get uninterrupted fast internet access. The campus has 9 boys hostels and 3 girls hostels. There is one mega boy’s hostel with 1000 bad capacity and one mega girl’s hostel with 600 beds capacity. All others are medium-sized (200-300 student capacity). In the first year, students share with two or four other students in their rooms. After that single rooms are allotted.
Weather: The climate of Jaipur is harsh and hot most of the time. Allahabad, being in the plains, should have a comparatively pleasant climate.
Food: The mess food at MNIT Jaipur is tasteless and pathetic.
Other facilities: The computer center of MNIT Jaipur is really very good and is of a very high standard.

Hostels were very old ,they were built very long ago but they were modified.For first year we have 3 sharing and from second year we have single rooms .Rooms will be allocated according to branch.Mess will totally north Indian food.For south Indians food will be huge problem.There will be no nonveg.We have only boiled egg and ommlet once per a week.I pay ?30000 per semester which is affordable.
