However, they were eligible for internship in 3th year and most of the students get placed before placement session as they get PPO from the internship. There were various companies from both sectors core and non core. In core, there were reliance, BPCL, HPCL, HRRL, etc. Non core, there was IT related and finance related. Finance related was some bank(I don't remember the name). In IT sector, there were many like Deloitte, Apple, Oracle, etc. Hightest package was around 60lpa. Average package was 8-10lpa. Those who wanted to get placed, they all got placed. I am preparing for civil services exam.

Highest package of our college was i bielieve 64lpa and average package this year was 11.06lpa percentage of students getting placed is around 90 percent and my plans after getting the degree is that if i have done a 6 months internship in a company i will most probably go and work there or else i will go to some place to do my masters degree

Although the institute does not release any official data, I asked a friend at MNIT Jaipur for the same. As per the information I got from him,

MNIT Jaipur M.Tech placements depend on a number of factors like the placement coordinator of that year, his keenness to do his job, and the level of preparation of the PG students. Most core and software companies allow MTech students to sit for placements. The placement coordinator convinced HR of companies to give eligibility to students of all the circuit branches like Embedded, VLSI, Electronics and Communication, CS, and Power Electronics. If the students perform well in the interview, they may land the job easily.

For MTech students, what matters the most is the internship opportunities they are offered in the 2nd year. Luckily, MNIT Jaipur has many big firms like Intel, GE, Texas Instruments, Infineon, STMicroelectronics, Qualcomm, ARM, etc. that offer 1-year internships to its MTech students. Many students even end up getting full-time offers after an internship.

The placements for VLSI at MNIT Jaipur aren’t very good, to be honest. As a whole, the college is great, offering top-notch education and placement opportunities. The college is known for its highly experienced professors, a vast amount of resources in the library, and a great research culture. All these factors combined make it a good choice for an MTech program. However, if you are only keen to get placed in the VLSI domain, you will have to reconsider your choices. In that case, the best options would be IITs or NITs.

One of my friends was pursuing MTech in VLSI from MNIT Jaipur and told me that she got the opportunity to go to an internship program and finally landed a decent job in the VLSI industry thanks to the consistent guidance he received from his professor.

So, it can be concluded that getting direct VLSI placements is challenging but with the right motivation and planning you might land a decent job.
