The hostel facilities at MNIT Jaipur are fairly standard and student-friendly. Each room is typically shared by two students at the PG level, furnished with a bed, study table, chair, cupboard, and adequate lighting and fan provisions. Internet connectivity (LAN/Wi-Fi) is provided in hostels, and there are common rooms with TVs and recreational facilities like carrom, table tennis, and newspapers. Washrooms are cleaned regularly, though at times maintenance could be improved.
The hostel mess serves four meals a day – breakfast, lunch, evening snacks, and dinner. The menu is on rotation and generally includes Indian staples like dal, rice, roti, and seasonal vegetables, with special items (like paneer or sweets) a few times a week. While the food is healthy and hygienic, the taste can sometimes be monotonous, as is common in most hostels. Students often prefer eating at campus canteens or nearby cafés occasionally for variety.
The registration process for hostels is straightforward. Once admission is confirmed, students apply for hostel accommodation online, submit ID and fee receipts, and are allotted rooms based on availability. The hostel fee is affordable compared to renting outside, with charges covering accommodation, mess, and basic amenities.
For those who opt for PGs or rented flats outside, nearby areas like Malviya Nagar and Jagatpura are popular. They offer a range of hostels and PGs with added comforts like AC rooms, Wi-Fi, and varied food options, though at a higher cost than the institute hostel. These localities are safe and well-connected, making them convenient alternatives.

The mess menu is decided by students and covers all meals—think dal, sabzi, rice, chapati, paneer, and even special dishes like biryani or chole bhature. Quality is decent and hygiene is good, but like any hostel, you’ll probably crave outside food sometimes!
Hostel and mess fees are around 32,000–47,000 per semester. Registration is done online—pay the fee, get your room allotment by email, and check in anytime with your ID.Hostel life at MNIT Jaipur is super convenient and packed with facilities!
Rooms come with a bed, cupboard, table, chair, fan, tube light, and LAN connection. First-years share rooms (usually 3 per room), while seniors often get single rooms. Every hostel has a common room with TV and games, plus access to a gym and sports grounds.

The hostel campus is excellent the facilities available in the room are bed study table to sit on good light and a ceiling fan above your head with almirah to store all your personal items. The mess quality at mnit is poor. The food consumed is primarily unhygienic and may contain Steel fibres in your food. The registration process of hostel is completed on mnit's online portal where you need to pay 24000 rupees as mess charges and hostel charges together.
