I’ve looked into the placements for NIT Trichy B.Tech in Electrical and Electronics Engineering and IIT Indore B.Tech in Metallurgical and Materials Engineering, and it’s clear that NIT Trichy generally has the edge in terms of job prospects. They have a strong track record with tech giants and consistent on-campus internships, which really boost employability. IIT Indore offers great opportunities too, but the Metallurgical and Materials field can sometimes be niche, leading to fewer opportunities compared to the broader electrical field at NIT Trichy. If you’re aiming for a tech-focused career, NIT Trichy would be a safer bet, while IIT Indore might be better if you’re passionate about materials engineering and willing to navigate a more specialized job market.

NIT Trichy for B.Tech in Electrical and Electronics Engineering offers a solid ROI with affordable fees of around ?60,000 per semester, alongside various scholarships for economically weaker students, making it financially accessible. The campus has good placement opportunities with tech giants, providing a practical learning environment. In contrast, IIT Indore's B.Tech in Metallurgical and Materials Engineering may have a higher fee structure, but it also opens doors to elite placements and a prestigious brand value. However, if you're looking for value for money and practical exposure, NIT Trichy might be the smarter choice; it balances cost with decent placement prospects. If you're aiming for high-end placements and can manage the fees, IIT Indore could be worth it. Ultimately, go for NIT Trichy if you want to keep costs down while still getting good placements.

NIT Trichy in Electrical and Electronics Engineering has a solid curriculum with practical applications and decent placement opportunities, especially with tech giants showing interest in students. The campus life is vibrant with various activities, but the faculty-student interaction could be better. On the other hand, IIT Indore in Metallurgical and Materials Engineering might not have the same level of industry recognition as NIT Trichy, but it benefits from IIT's overall brand value, potentially leading to better placements. The campus life at IIT Indore also seems engaging, with ample opportunities for students to get involved. Personally, I'd lean towards NIT Trichy if I valued strong placements in tech and practical learning, but IIT Indore might be the better choice for those who prioritize brand prestige and are interested in specialized fields.

IIT Indore's Metallurgical and Materials Engineering (MEMS) is a relatively new program, having started in 2016. As a budding IIT, expectations should be managed; the IIT tag is valuable, but that's about it. The professors are knowledgeable in material science, but there's no guarantee of placement after four years. Additionally, branch changes are challenging, with only 1–2 seats available for those looking to switch. On the flip side, NIT Trichy is a well-established institution that offers a better campus life and more opportunities in the electrical engineering field. Choose IIT Indore if you want the IIT tag, but NIT Trichy will likely provide more academic and placement opportunities in electrical engineering.

I don't know much about NIT Trichy, but IIT Indore's Metallurgical and Materials Engineering (MEMS) program isn't great. MEMS started in 2016 at IIT Indore., Not many companies are coming for placements., There is a lack of experienced faculty., and The campus is still under construction..
