28th January 2018, Bhubaneswar: More than 75,000 people from various walks of life participated in ‘Education for All’ Mini Marathon organized by KIIT & KISS on Sunday. KIIT & KISS has been organizing the Mini Marathon for the noble cause since last three years. This is the third edition of Mini Marathon, where it was organized in 35 cities & towns of 30 districts of Odisha.

In all places the mini marathon started at 6:30 am simultaneously. In Bhubaneswar, the run started from Sandy’s Tower to KIIT Stadium. Dr. Prasanna Patasani, MP, Lok Sabha; Anubhab Mohanty, MP, Rajya Sabha and eminent Odia cine star; Priyadarshi Mishra, MLA, North Bhubaneswar, Cine star Sabyasachi Mishra, sprinter Dutee Chand and Anuradha Biswal, international footballer Shradhanjali Samantray, international Kabadi player Rashmita Sahu and Dr. Achyuta Samanta, Founder, KIIT & KISS flagged off the run.

More than 10 thousand people including students from various educational institutions of Bhubaneswar, students and staff of KIIT & KISS, students of SAI and state sports hostel and common people also participated the mini marathon. Education plays a vital role in the inclusive development of a nation, state and in person. Everybody should create awareness for education for all, opined the guests present in the closing ceremony. Certificates are given to all the participants of mini-marathon on the occasion.
