Course Curriculum Overview

The mains aspects that influenced me to choose this course was the availability of this course nearby my state. There is no BA music in my state which includes western music. The availability of western music in my college is the key aspect for me to choose this college. Also the department is full on instruments and a proper studio which drawed me to choose this college. The curriculum really prepares you well and makes you an all rounder in the music teaching field.

Faculty

The faculty to student ratio is adequate. In my batch there are 31 students for which we have 5 different teachers specific for each subject. The faculties i liked are, Sir Budshaphrang, Sir Adelberge and Ma'am bala. They are really good at teaching us as they don't leave any individual unseen if they need help. They are really respectful towards us and also have a great sense of involvement in the classroom. The only teacher i don't really admire is Ma'am Kanta.

My classmates were really nice but they are all very competitive. They would see everyone as a threat. I personally feel like you should always be competing with yourself so that you can improve. But even our professors would tell them that everyone is a competition. Plus the teaching style is so bad that half of the students in our class can't pass most of the time because of the language barrier and poor quality teaching.

Fees and Financial Aid

So every year the fees change. You have to pay extra for every subjects you have opted for. More like you have to pay extra. And for people who belongs to different categories (SC, ST, OBC) get benefits to pay less than others. But if you are a general then forget about it.

In our college and specially in music stream we have theory and practical learning. In theory part, we have to attend lectures in college and 70 ? attendance is compulsory. For different subjects like History of music, Sanskrit etc specialised faculties were there. For practical learning we have to go to our guru's place once or twice or thrice a week. College provides us guru for practical learning. However as a student i got help from all the faculties and other staffs but i would like to mention the name of Mr. Praveen Kaslikar sir. He used to help us by going out of the box.

Course Curriculum Overview

I wanted to pursue music from the beginning. Here I want to say one thing that Bachelors or Masters in music is not for the beginners. The one who wants to do this, has to have good knowledge of music. So i was also learning music for past 10-12 years before doing Bachelors in music. My previous learning helped me to understand and study according to this curriculum and it was also applicable for all batchmates. The curriculum is well designed by eminent and well known artists and it helps us to gain a vast knowledge of music.

Fees and Financial Aid

The annual fees for admission is only four thousand but as i stay hostel so the hostel fees goes upto 13,000 thousand. But the ST students get scholar Under the umbrella schorlarship scheme as well as stipends. We have to pay semester wise the hostel fees has increased by one thousand this year , since its a government college under rural area so even increasing thousand is a big deal for students. Campus Life

My experience with campus life at BAMU University has been incredibly enrich and reaching. The social environment is vibrant and welcoming with new marriage opportunities for students to connect an engage. Social aspects like festivals clubs in the festivals the university host a variety of annual and Technical festival throughout the year some notable once include Diwali Dussehra Raksha Bandhan etc provide a platform for students to showcase their talent participate in cultural events and simply have fun and in clubs like the campus has a wide range of student Run clubs and organisations creating a diverse interest. Whether you are a passionate about sports arts music Academics or social causes your likely to find club that align with your interest joining these clubs not only allows you to pressure your hobbies but also provide opportunities to develop leadership skills collaborate with pears and make life long friends. Overall my experience with campus life at BAMU University has been positive and rewarding the vibrant social environment diverse club activities and excellent infrastructure create a conductive atmosphere for learning and personal growth.

Fees and Financial Aid

As a student pursuing a BA degree from BAMU University the yearly tuition fees is around 250000. This fees covered tuition and admission charges but explodes other expenses like hostel rent and miscellaneous cost. The hostel rent is 12000 per year offering decent accommodation. Unfortunately there are no scholarships available at the University for BA students and financial aid options are quite Limited. For the students in the other categories (SC/ st/obc) the fees remains similar, tho some students may away of government find its scholarships based on eligibility. Additional charges such as exam fees and registration cost add up to around 6000 per year. It's worth noting that the fee structure has remained fairly stable with no significant increase over the last few years. However the lack of financial aid makes affordability challenge for many students.

But as consisders it will good at providing knowledge about our history and politics and the geography of world and india but this is not in the right form which had to be in the syllabus. The curriculum of the college and in my classroom are very good and which is obviously helpful for me to maintain the curriculum of that particular place . And behaved with manners when you are in the class infront of their teacher. And it is helpful me when i am talking with elders to show respect and kindness when we are taking with our parents and with eldera also . I liked the canten area of my college and the canteen vale bhaiya i missed him very much they are very close to student but the pg food is not good for the health of the students they used sometimes expired food items and served to the students to eat that food many students suffering from food poisoning this is not good and right students should have to raise their voice on these issues. The exam management of our college is good and faculty also reached and punctual of the time and also helped the students. There are total 7 subject in my course . The name are the modern political science, western political philosophy i don't understand why we study the western philosophy we have our ancient thinkers and their theories are still relevant today we have to studied these but wr have to study western philosophy instead of studying our Indian ancient thinker's philosophy that again not good and we should have to raise their voice on this . Overall my college and the faculty are good they helps students to achieve their goal whi

Campus Life

I like to involve in the sport i have good at athletes but in our college there are many few option and chance to enjoy sports but their are many clubs like politicians clubs and the elections held to choose their leaders for the development and the many other things and in my college there is also a basketball club and i am very interested in playing basketball and i am the menber of the club . My involvement is in many clubs because everyone enjoys other things and as much as they don't like studying all the time . These clubs are the relaxing and here students find their interest in involving these clubs and activities. In my college the library and the faculty are very good they are very kind and the environment of the library are also very peaceful and good whenever i feel low i go to the library room and read any book it give me relax and remove my exam stress and anxiety . Every students should experience this and we will easily essue any book which we want to read at home the faculty members are very supportive and kind. In my classroom the technology are also good the fans, light , and white board all are in a good working conditions and electricians team are always ready where there is any interiotion held in studies . And also the medication room in my college are very good . One day i fall down from stair and little injuring held in my elbow the medication team was very good they have the equipment and medicine which are useful to stich my injury and give me injections and medicines . They handle my case i liked the experience and also they all are very kind. My overall experience of campus life was very good i like and i am greatful that i enjoyed and live my campus life i did not forgot the faculty and staff of college and also my classmates and my friends ehich are their for me in any situation. I am Satish Gaikwad , a student of second year B.A. in BAMU Unvercity I have also completed my graduation from BAMU University and it has been a great experience being a part of it. All the teachers here are very much supportive, interactive and are highly qualified. They always support us not only in our study but also mentally. Not only in class time but we also abled to contact our teachers in other time when we needed. Our department often organise seminars and webinars on many interesting topics and also meeting such as parent- teacher meeting, 'Ask the teacher' etc. to be more interactive with us. Every students have a mentor with whom they can discuss their queries and sort out them. There are also placement facilities. University also provides summer internship programme to gain more knowledge and it helps to learn new topics as well . Plenty of clubs are available ranging from robotics to sports ,dance to entrepreneurship. There are also library facilities with good range of knowledge resources, accessible in both online and offline mode. Hostels are also available for both boys and girls . A very good cafeteria and 'Food-Court' are available with good food and clean environment. Medical facilities, pharmacy, ambulance are also available in campus. My overall experience is great till now and here I feel like I am not just a student, but also a part of a big family

Here are some things to consider when writing a review of a college campus: Infrastructure How well the college is maintained, including the library, computer lab, and other areas Academics How supportive the teachers are, how challenging the syllabus is, and how the academics are presented Placements Whether the college offers good placement opportunities for your course, or if it offers good internship opportunities

Campus Life

The infrastructure is great, with every place having its own designation. There are a LOT of events, clubs that one can join to help build a community for themselves. The library is one of the best things of this place, with a variety of genres and academic books to choose from. Sports and extracurricular activites are abundant, and anyone can join them. There are a lot of student-run social groups for various different things and aspects.

Faculty

I studied an art course, and the faculty were extremely kind, polite, helpful and enthusiatic about teaching us different things pertaining to the course. I found the english faculty to be very patient and passionate about their subject and course, something that is not easy to find. The psychology faculty however, can be a little hard to work with, considering how much pressure they face from thier seniors.

As im going to graduate from DU this year im sharing my 3years experience on this platform. You can choose DU as your college only and until you got admission in a top college such as miranda, hansraj, zakir hussian but dont expect that every DU college will be the same. Your 1year anual fee going to be your 1month pg rent for sure which is quite normal in delhi. As my course is music im paying some 10890/- change which is less than my monthly pg rent. A total of 30k is my 3year course total fee and i dont think i have choosen a great college from DU. comparing to my native area college(hyderabad) i feel like i have taken a wrong step choosing DU. Coming to scholarship part, maximum scholarships are given to reservation backgrounds and whose family income is less than 2lakhs or sometimes 4lakhs. by this i say that affording your every months pg's rent will be a hardest battle for your family so instead of choosing DU go for another option. Placements are worst here.

Course Curriculum Overview

I guess everything here us worst. I have thought it will be western music but after joining the college i came to know that it is hindustani music and people who are already from music background can getin from this unlike me who is non-musical background. Everything related to faculty, examination amd all has to be improved in DU

Placement Experience

The placements of the college are also really good . like most of the students prefer only to graduate and for further studies they prefere going to private universities or abroad . But if someone stays in Du for the placement she can get an average package of 3-4 lakhs and highest package of 9-10 lakhs

Faculty

Some members of faculty are really sweet but some of them are really rude , And there are many socities in the college to groom up ourselves which is great but to join any society they ask us to pay some amout of fees . But overall Music society is the best in this college and has won many prizes.
