Course Curriculum Overview

1.5

I guess everything here us worst. I have thought it will be western music but after joining the college i came to know that it is hindustani music and people who are already from music background can getin from this unlike me who is non-musical background. Everything related to faculty, examination amd all has to be improved in DU

Internships Opportunities

0.5

All major companies come here for interviewing students but none of the comoany gives you offer letter. Only 2-3 students from the main colleges get placements or internship and remaning 70-80k students will be left out

Fees and Financial Aid

As im going to graduate from DU this year im sharing my 3years experience on this platform. You can choose DU as your college only and until you got admission in a top college such as miranda, hansraj, zakir hussian but dont expect that every DU college will be the same. Your 1year anual fee going to be your 1month pg rent for sure which is quite normal in delhi. As my course is music im paying some 10890/- change which is less than my monthly pg rent. A total of 30k is my 3year course total fee and i dont think i have choosen a great college from DU. comparing to my native area college(hyderabad) i feel like i have taken a wrong step choosing DU. Coming to scholarship part, maximum scholarships are given to reservation backgrounds and whose family income is less than 2lakhs or sometimes 4lakhs. by this i say that affording your every months pg's rent will be a hardest battle for your family so instead of choosing DU go for another option. Placements are worst here.

Campus Life

4

Clubs and fests are the most happening thing in DU. probably happens in every first 2months of academic year. And the anual fests happens in feb. apart from studies everything is great DU such as clubs, libraries, sports and gym.

Admission

I have high score on my 12th and cuet as well but due to lack of knowledge about all the colleges in DU i have given a worst preference list where i have included most of the so called normal colleges in DU. As i have got seat in a college which is in 3rd optiom of my preference list i cannot go for upgrade option and have paid for the seat just to experience outside world. I guess i would have drop this college and go for another universities like JNU, DTU etc

Faculty

1.5

2semister exams per a year will be done with internals too. Where you can get good marks if you are a favourite student to the respective subject teacher. Exams are noy that difficult medium level question are provided and yes everyone can write and get passed very easily. but getting high score isn't a normal thing here.

Other Applied Colleges

Vignan's Foundation for Science, Technology, and Research | Bachelor of Computer Applications [BCA]

I preferred moving to delhi rather than staying at my native area so that i can experience various culture and diversity

Course Curriculum Overview:

the curriculum is decided by delhi university, economics wing and is followed by all the colleges of du, although few topic are often irrevelent which teachers tend to skip. i do feel that curriculum is pretty old and they should introduce new topic which are more related to reak=l world and give us real life experience not just bookish knowledge which is irelevent. they should also ask for students input related to their curriculum, teachers sometimes tedn to just do book reading. internal exmas are taken frequently and difficulty is 3 out of 5

Course Curriculum Overview:

It is a good course. I went for it mainly because I am preparing for UPSC CSE (pretty common around here). In that context the course is helpful, and also for those aiming to enter research, academia, museology, archaeology etc. However there are not many placement opportunities and for most it would be better to pursue masters later on. Teaching methods are inclusive, both english and hindi medium students can comfortably study. However both students and faculties have some complaints regarding the curriculum changes under NEP such as the sequence of courses in each sem.

There's a very active placement cell in my college. They conduct placement drives, webinars and workshops. Both the jobs and internships are offered. The best package was of 2024 offering 23 Lpa and the average is around 6 Lpa.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course is rightly designed. Plus the teachers often suggest books that can be read from library regarding course topics. The library is very nice here. I used to study in the library for long hours. The exam notes and everything is available at the photocopy shop that's inside the college. Writing this review really made me miss the college more

Placement Experience:

Placements definitely stands out as passive placement cell of the college is too good. They are quite aggressive and keep attacking us with getting ready for placements. As top corporate house like Big 4 and top Indian conglomerate also comes to our college for placements.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Initially i took this course beacuse i filled it as a backup for coming into delhi university but now i can say that the course is very interesting and it is practically applicable in daily life. Tho the theory exams are quite difficult and subjects like advance mme where max students fail exist but then also it is doable and has market value

Placement Experience:

The college has a placement cell which comes up with lots and lots of internship and job offers throughout the year, you get multiple new job opportunities every week but the campus placement is not all that great, B Com courses have somewhat decent placements. the college doesn't push very much or try much to get students placed, you're on your own.

Placement Experience:

Generally, after BA no one is placed and even if we apply for a job we don't get a good package. So, students generally go for masters or some other courses through which they can get placements. Talking of college placement and internship cell we don't have very good facilities as very limited companies are there for recruiting students. Many students don't even get the internship. This is a major negative point of college.
