For BA. Culinary Arts at Welcomgroup Graduate School Of Hotel Administration, MAHE, Manipal I Pay 3,50,000/- Per year for 3 years. I have also paid a refundable Caution Deposit fee of 10,000/- , and no other extra fee such as lab fees or other compulsory charges. There are several other newly started courses such as B.Sc./B.Sc (Hons.) Culinary Arts and BA/BA (Hons.) in Hospitality Management. The Scholarships offered are: Achiever Scholarship- Awarded to 5% of the general category intake for each program in 2nd,3rd,4th & 5th years based on the student's academic performance in the previous year. ITC Hotels Ltd Scholarship- Worth Rs. 3.5 lakh and is offered to BHM students who excel in operational subjects.

Placement Experience

Wgsha has strong campus placements with a high percentage of students securing jobs. The college's reputation and affiliation with ITC Hotels play a key role in attracting recruiters. Students become eligible during the final year (5th or 7th semester). For the course subject BA Culinary Arts, the fee per year for the 2023 batch was 3.5 lakhs per annum. So in total the 3 year fee was 10.5 lakhs. There was an initial caution deposit payment of 10,000. Since 2024 the BA Culinary Arts degree has been changed to BSc, Culinary Science.The fees of the new batches of BSc.Culinary Science has been increased to 4.5 lakhs per annum.

Campus Life

The library is filled with books from around the world. They provide all the basic to advanced books for Hotel management as awell as books for other courses like MSc. Dientetics and Nutrition, MAIC etc. They conduct many intarschool and interschoo, sports competitions. There are many clubs like Horticulture club, Mad Over Bakng club, Media club etc

Campus Life

The major event is the 5-day event conducted by MAHE annually. Then we do have an annual food fest. All the colleges under the Manipal group participated in this event. We have a library with around 14000 books. We have different clubs in our university which we can join and have a lot of fun around the campus.

Since I was very fond of Cooking I chose this Course. And I found WGSHA is one of the best colleges for culinary arts hence applied here. We have one of the best faculty teams here. The faculties are very experienced in their field. We had 6 semesters and 12 internals. Exams were moderately easy to pass.
