I like the overall curriculum , the laboratory exposure from the first year itself provides a really good exposure , the schedule is good as well , it is not hectic and you get time to develope other skills apart from curriculum. You can get engaged with short and long time project while being in your bachelors degree itself . Though there are two mid semester and one end semester exams in each semester and the difficulty level varies from professor to professor thus we have relative grading.

THIS IS A RESEARCH ORIENTED COURSE BS-MS, basically an integrated 5-year bsc msc plan but in a more structured and on a research basis. There is at least 1 professor on 30 students I think not sure. And all professors are well-qualified postdocs from good foreign universities. Term exams were divided into 2 midsems and one end sem and the level of paper is the same as what professors taught in class.

I chose this course because I was interested in research. The student-to-faculty ratio here is 30:1. They all are postdocs and all of them have done their postdocs from good foreign universities. Here mid sems are conducted every month in total 2 midsems and one endsem is conducted every semester, the exams are not too tough if you go to classes and understand things conceptually.

This course mainly focuses on building foundations for basic science among students. As I always wanted to become a scientist I chose this institution. In my opinion, IISERs are way more research than other Indian Universities because of the following reasons 1. Course structure focuses a lot on building up essential skills for both experimental and theoretical sciences. 2. The extensive summer internship culture in IISERs helps the students to get introduced to research from their very first year. 3. The professors have connections with other scientists worldwide which can help students explore research in a lot of advanced laboratories and institutes. Talking about the course structure here1. Courses are usually pretty extensive as every course includes a lot of assignments, quizzes, two mid-sems and one end-sem. 2. As the core courses here for the first two years include all four subjects (PCMB) the core courses don't go that deep which makes the major courses pretty extensive.

In IISER Mohali, you are required to study all subjects for the first two years. then pick your major and study for next two years and write your thesis in your final year. I choose physics as my major, there are many theoretical & computational faculty and a few experimental people. Exams were not too difficult to pass

Interested in becoming a lecturer and doing my undergradution and graduation degree. I want to become a good lecturer in the subject of biology and it is my dream to become a good teacher in allen institute and I think to fulfill my dream IISER Mohali is best for that and that's why I choose IISER Mohali.

Actually I didn't want to do drop after my class 12th like all students of my class were doing but my parents were suggesting me to take a drop and appear for the medical exam but I didn't want to be a doctor so as an alternative I look for a college and I found IISER Mohali best for that.

I want to do Phd in Biology and in Biology amy particular interest is in Astrobiology and if you want to go for Phd in astrobiology then you will need good CPI, recommendation and degree from a good university and for that IISER Mohali is best and that's why I choose IISER Mohali for my graduation.
