- There are many scholarships here like inspire, kvpy, and merit cum mean (for reserved students).
- The faculty is very much effective and good, all have really good research background and are very helpful and approachable.
- Hostel and campus facilities, and the freedom you get to make choices

- The mess food is not the best in comparison to the price charged.
- The stray dogs are a serious problem of campus. They have injured many students in a serious condition. And it is very harmful for other animals and birds to survive in the compteteion with the dogs, Which decrease the diversity of campus.

I want to become a lecturer after my college degree and according to me to do degree from a national importance college is far better than doing degree from a local college. It will be easy for me to find a job after my BS-MS for the post of lectureship if I will do my degree from a research institute this was the main factor in choosing IISER Mohali for me.

Personal interest in research was the main and dominating factor in choosing IISER. And the factor which played a role in choosing IISER Mohali is it's location as it is near to my hometown. Other small factors include parents, teachers, mentors, relatives and friends advice.

The person who was responsible for getting admission of me in IISER was my Fufa Ji. He is a lecturer in a Punjab college and he convinced my parents to taught me in IISER Mohali as it is a good college and is also a safe place for girls and that's why I attempted IAT and luckily get admission in IISER Mohali.

IISER Mohali gives you value of money. It's fees as compared to other colleges like engineering colleges is very low and almost every student also get scholarship from KVPY or through Inspire. Approximate tuition fees of year is about 70,000. The most important thing the future of students is safe here and due to all these I choose IISER Mohali.

Truly I never want to get admission in any IISER I wanted to do MBBS but here the luck doesn't supported me an the NEET cutoff went exponentially high and inspite of having good marks I was not able to secure MBBS seat but as I cleared KVPY exam and IISER was offering admission on basis of KVPY and here my parents played a role in getting admission to IISER, they didn't allowed me to take a drop, soo I choose IISER Mohali among all IISERs.

I choose IISER Mohali because I want to become a Biology teacher in my life and my thoughts were like that if I prefer to do my under graduation and graduation from a National Importance college not from any local college and that's why I attempted IISER Aptitude Test which was suggested by my teacher and then by some preparation I secured admission in IISER Mohali.
